Black Lightning or Black Vulcan?

Both are deserving.

There certainly is and was an absence of not only black characters in the DCU and WGSH, but also all ethnicities. I don't want anyone to do a BL or BV figure just to fill a quota or be the "token", but either figures are long overdue. Just make the best figures and choices possible.

Lightning has the comic book cred, and Vulcan captured the hearts and imaginations of all of us who watched SUper Friends. Both have dynamic qualities and cool costumes. Can you imagine a Black Vulcan figure with those Mattel thighs? I don't know how They would pull off the Black Lightning suit as a production figure. It's hard enough for Leitner to do it. I just don't know how it would translate into mass production. I'm down for either or both.

Black Lightning, followed by the rest of the original 'Batman and the Outsiders' team. That would be sweet, especially a figure of Halo. I just love her costume.

Has anyone here ever done a Halo custom?

They should do Cyborg before BL and BV but I would like to be able to have both versions, why not have them both one as a variant BV.

As a lifelong SuperFriends fan, the answer is definitely Black Vulcan! I would buy him in a heartbeat. I wouldn't mind getting a Black Lightning, but I either want Black Vulcan or both. And on that note, I definitely want Samaraui, Apache Chief, the Wonder Twins, and El Dorado. The SuperFriends need their due.

BOTH , But i favor Lightning. Cyborg would be great too, when they start 8" titans figures. after all the new TT started in 1980-Mego prime years. They annouced John Jonzz so they are going more comics route but they have so many characters to do they should keep a variety in thier releases, BV,apache chief and samuria should all be Matty exclusives.

Cyborg is "later-Super Friends"....I think the Mego connection is definitely the "Challenge" years.
And if you expect to see Cyborg because of his SF connections, then should we expect to see DeSaad, Kalibak and Darkseid?
At the expense of other 70s characters or a Plastic Man?

I thought the idea of this live was "as if Mego never stopped," so that improvements on the body for example would be right at home as long as they kept the Mego feel. I would think this would also mean that the character pool would go beyond the 70s, if Mego continued to this day they wouldn't still be making 1970's characters.

Solomon Grundy, Scarecrow, Riddler, Batgirl, Supergirl, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Brainiac, Bizarro and even Grodd, Toyman and Giganta.

If the point is just to make another black character (for anyone who doesn't know, Black Manta is a black guy), then how about Nubia?

Regardless of skin color, one character who is NOT on my list is Mr. Mxyzptlk. I'm still bitter that he was made into an 8" Mego rather than Lex Luthor!

Yeah but Black Manta being actually black was only recently part of the story so it's cool and I like his story but some how I don't count him and he's a villian. I'd like a hero or two. I do love your idea's especially Poison Ivy, Brainiac, and Giganta and the one I'd love more than anything else is Nubia! I'd really love her but sadly I doubt they'd even consider Nubia but I'd be in heaven if they did.

I agree about Mr. Mxyzptlk,I can do without him. That said I do want to see the other 3 bad guys Mego did...especially Joker and Penguin. I really would rather see Brainiac for another Supes villain.
