    Females for Mattel Line

Hi everyone! I'm new here and have only posted a few times when the news first came about. Now that we have Green Arrow and have said what we like or don't like, I was wondering what females you were interested in and what you hope will be improved.

As I mentioned in another thread here, I'm hoping they don't use the flesh tone suits like they did for Wonder Woman and Catwoman back in the day. Also, I hope Wonder Woman will have a removeable tiara. Lastly, I hope the faces will be more realistic looking like they did with Invisible Woman and Lt Uhura. Any thoughts on this?

I am completely fine with the flesh body suits, I like that.

The thought of the body scares me. I sure hope it is good, because I have my doubts they will be compatible with Mego bodies like the dudes are.

I'm not big on the flesh tone suits. Its why I haven't bothered getting Wonder Woman. I don't get why Robin doesn't have flesh legs or arms but Tarzan did.

I'd like to see Catwoman in a more Iconic or contemporary costume if they add her to the line.

I like the cute faces better then the realistic faces personally. Maybe the Dinah-Mite face could be used on the new ones? Or something cute like it anyway.

There's a bunch I'd like to see them do, like Batgirl and Cheetah, but I'd be happy just to get Wonder Woman out of the new line. If she gets made, I really cant see them going with the printed flesh tights route for Wondy. A shrunk down version of the recent WW Barbie outfit would work.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Well, they did do the flesh arms on Green Arrow.

They did but it didn't bother me so much because the gloves cover most of it. With someone wearing less clothing like Diana, I think it's going to look bad. I always felt they could have executed her better back in those days. I enjoyed the female Megos but they were a little too cute looking and doll-like for me face-wise. The men had the right balance (not too serious, but not over the top smiles either).

I'm sure I'm also in the minority when it comes to the bust size. I don't want them to be over the top but I think they could have just a bit more. Then again, I can always stuff them with tissue.

Personally I wouldn't mind the flesh suits.
I'll be happy if we get a revamped Batgirl and Catwoman

I'd rather see Mattel limit the female characters.

Depending on the body, I would want a lot of females, if they look cool. But, if they suck, then they may as well be Barbies.

That's because they needed to attach the gauntlets to some thing.

I would like to see Mattel do alot of female characters....but I always hated body suits as long as they keep the body joints clean looking there should be no problem leaving body parts exposed.

Actually, they could have just slid them on. I think they kept the flesh arms to be more in the style of the original Mego figure over any other reason. And I just said that because it my relate to the direction they go with the rest of the figures.

Considering what a flop some Barbies have been, I feel the same way.

The old flesh toned suits were too bulky and baggy, especially the WW suit.

The one on Catwoman, while not all that cute, at least was a little snugger and more form fitting.

One thing I hope that they address is the arms. The originals had little bitty twigs for arms, and were NOT believable.

I'm not saying that they have to look like a female body builder; I just want more definition in the upper arm area.

Superheroines are supposed to be highly athletic and flexible.

The new female figures should reflect that.

Hey Doc! Are you reading all these?

Barbie has a New 101 pose Body..., that is pretty Impressive imo ..., But then, we are also talking Barbie,.. so something like that would be really impressive to me.

But that new Joan Jett Barbie is Awesome..., I saw her the other day...., also a Big fan of the 2nd WW And Black Canary figure too.
