A Q&A posted on another site:
Site Question -- "With Mattel's new "Retro-Action" Mego-inspired WGSH line, what sort of balance is planned between re-doing already produced characters (Superman, Batman, Joker, etc.), versus never-realized ones (Green Lantern, Sinestro, Flash, etc.) ? And will Matty focus on 70's-era versions to specifically capture the Mego flavour, or is the line intended to extend beyond that? Additionally, 70s-centric non-super-hero characters like Warlord, Unknown Soldier, Jonah Hex, etc."
Mattel Answer -- "For the most part we will be sticking to the vintage 1970s - 1980s look of characters - though this is not a hard rule. If the line does well though, we’d love to offer both tributes to figures in the vintage line as well as characters never done in the 8” cloth style. Non-superhero figures are not off limits, provided they have a dynamic look and would work in this style."
Take it for what it's worth..
