Every toy company knows it's always better to market to a broad spectrum of customer interests...so we should see non super hero characters in the 8 inch line from Mattel.

8 inches, no reason to think that Mattel couldn't do that as well.

Wonder Woman didn't look like WW because she was Supergirl.
MEGO used the same sculpt for Supergirl, Batgirl, and WW.
I think for Mattel licenses 8" may not fare well at mass retail as opposed to 3-3/4, But putting them on mattycollector could solve that.

We just need to know what lic. rights Mattel currently has, or will/maybe have to make some educated guesses methinks.

        Twilight MEGOS perhaps?

My daughter would love TWILIGHT Megos. She got the Bella and Edward PINK LABEL Barbies for Christmas, while my other daughter got Batgirl and Supergirl. My wife says I'm ruining them.

I would definately get non-superhero Retro Action Figures if Mattel produces them, especially Lone Ranger, Tonto, Jonah Hex, Buffy, X-Files, Battlestar Galactic (old and new), Star Trek (movie versions in their costumes), etc. New monsters like Dracula, Wolf-Man, Frankenstein, etc. would be great as well.

I would be all for that...the possibilites are endless here!

Lone Ranger and Tonto definitely!! Absolutely Battlestar Galactica (old) !!
I would probably buy a Jonah Hex as well.

The monsters definitely need a reimagined look!! Those could be fantastic!!

I hope they do only classic 70's and 80's versions of figures. They are called Retro. Golden Age characters often were seen in Bronze Age comics visiting Earth 1 so we can still get some great JSA members that way. Not really interested in any Modern Age characters...well Harley Quinn may be an exception.
