Amok Time is getting them through Mattel distribution, not Diamond.
They have a Mattel retailer account.

They are all on Amazon, but wow, $20 each, I would expect them to be cheaper.

I got a gift certificate from Amazon and TRU is a pain in the neck for me anyway. Hey, with that gift card, it's the first time in 30 years my Mom has bought me a super hero figure!

A new reason to ask for Amazon gift cards!! I actually pre-ordered from the Big Bad Toy Store. I think they are around the same price as Amok Time. After trying to get into Mattel's DCUC - knowing that the figures are supposed to be a TRU doesn't give me a whole lot of confidence that I will actually find them there.

The fact that they are the same price (individually) at Amok and Big Bad as Amazon makes it even more surprising that they are 20 bones at Amazon.

I see Big Bad has cases of 8 for $150.

Diamond comics has them listed this month too, about $20 per figure (for me at least going through my online comic dealer). Does it make a difference where the retail outlet gets their inventory? Why would this even be an issue? Diamond gets them from Mattel too.

Seems $20 is the base price for these at most points of purchase (amazon, tru, diamond).

$20.00 must be the Suggested Retail Price from Mattel if everyone is listing that.
