Do you have a link to where that is?

All I'm seeing is 103 comments about Moss Man under the (now buried) quick notes that included the GA "close to sold out" announcement.

That said, it took me 10 minutes of wading through Mossman complaints on their page to get to the anouncement. Not a single comment about our Green Arrow there. So, I'm getting conflicting data: if these things are flying so fast, why isn't anyone talking about it outside this forum (or am I just missing something?).

As of now there's 27 comments about GA under the "last call announcement".

One thing to point out is that I'm sure that there were plenty of people/toy dealers who bought the max of 10 to an order. I'm sure that there's more of these people than we know. Just wait until after GA is sold out on Matty. He will start popping up quite a bit in eBay and in toy collectible stores. Lets wait and see.

There's been a modest few threads here and there about GA on RTM since his release, which is a good barometer for how much wider interest there is outside this forum. But nothing that compares with the discussion that's gone on there about Matty's MOTU and other previous popular releases and subsequent sell-outs.

Announcing something is "close to sold out" is one thing (perhaps done to jumpstart interest), actually selling out is another. Let's see how long that really takes..

It all comes down to production numbers. Depends on how many were actually made to decide how many are talking about it. No comments means no complaints. That's good. Biggest question is, Did they run limited amounts to drive demand up through ebay after market sellers so it would generate excitement about the first wave. If this was a plan it's brilliant from a sales point of view, though I've been pretty vocal about my opinion of the large mainstream toy producers being...well...not very good at doing things right. Flying fast is relative to how many were actually produced. Selling out is a good thing at least from a marketing point of view. If they show a significant after market life on ebay with a price increase, I figure it should show success in at least the initial two waves of figures. IMO.
