Hopefully I can still get one. Just ordered 3 of them. I completely forgot to order one. Even if I get only one I'll be happy."When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
 The beauty that surrounds them
 Isn't it a pity".

Hopefully they will lay GA to rest for now. It would be great if they brought him back down the road with a different card and had him for sale in Toys R' Us. Or even better, once he is gone, that's it. Isn't that why he is called an exlucive?Comment

Jesus Christ, seriously? Well, that news has caused an audible release of breath around these parts...

That said, it took me 10 minutes of wading through Mossman complaints on their page to get to the anouncement. Not a single comment about our Green Arrow there. So, I'm getting conflicting data: if these things are flying so fast, why isn't anyone talking about it outside this forum (or am I just missing something?).

It all comes down to production numbers. Depends on how many were actually made to decide how many are talking about it. No comments means no complaints. That's good. Biggest question is, Did they run limited amounts to drive demand up through ebay after market sellers so it would generate excitement about the first wave. If this was a plan it's brilliant from a sales point of view, though I've been pretty vocal about my opinion of the large mainstream toy producers being...well...not very good at doing things right. Flying fast is relative to how many were actually produced. Selling out is a good thing at least from a marketing point of view. If they show a significant after market life on ebay with a price increase, I figure it should show success in at least the initial two waves of figures. IMO.Jesus Christ, seriously? Well, that news has caused an audible release of breath around these parts...

Thanx for the insight. Paul and I do know the target run numbers and they were high and respectable, hence my spitting out coffee at the "almost sold out" notice in less than two weeks. But that said, I would expect buzz to be proportionate. Maybe that's all being done here :-)Comment

There's been a modest few threads here and there about GA on RTM since his release, which is a good barometer for how much wider interest there is outside this forum. But nothing that compares with the discussion that's gone on there about Matty's MOTU and other previous popular releases and subsequent sell-outs.

Announcing something is "close to sold out" is one thing (perhaps done to jumpstart interest), actually selling out is another. Let's see how long that really takes..Comment
