    See this what is going to happen with these public posts. I think everyone needs to keep these matters private, rather than use a public forum to address their issues. Like any company you will always have those that praise it , and no matter what those ready to burn it to the ground. I have said my piece , and that is that I have never had any serious issues to prevent me from purchasing from him and I will continue to do so. I am not going to keep on this because it just keeps snowballing. These threads really don't do anything but trash people , and create conflict.

      TOTALLY AGREE..

      Oh, and WELCOME Nodger..!! I've only been on for a year and it's a great place to swap stories, perhaps even discuss Mego once in a while.... A GREAT bunch of folk here.

      I'm just waiting for some gov't cash to roll in (leaving for another deployment in a month..), to buy up some MOC FF Megos, some great VF+ Silver Age comics, and other stuff.

            Well, to add a little more info, my original post was mainly out of frustration.

            I ordered some stuff back in March and since then have received nothing except a few holding PMs. Yes, agreed it's not nice to air the old dirty laundry in public and sad to hear about Joe's problems, but sorry, I'm still out of pocket and in the dark. Of course it might turn out that the combined forces of US and UK mail are enjoying my purchases! However, I won't know until he replies.

            For what it's worth, I reordered from Doctor Mego and received my order no problems, very happy to recommend that guy's service.

              while I agree, it does suck to wait months and get no reply when you try to communicate,so I can't blame him for posting this. Sometimes that's the only way it seems to work

                So its ok to create posts about lousy sellers, but not about getting ripped off by one of our own? If I hadn't gotten my items after 16 months, I'd be raising all kinds of hell. I don't care how much you are juggling with life, 16 months is ripping off your customer.

                  exactly, it's kind of hard to tell someone not to post that when they've been waiting over a year, I try to give people the benefit of the doubt but 16 months? that's crazy

                    I'd be upset and frustrated too but it's been stated several times that the Mego Museum and The Mego Store are 2 separate entities with one having nothing to do with the other. Yes, one of our own should be held accountable just like anyone else but how many Joe D did me wrong threads do we need? You guys know as well as I do it always turns into a Joe did me wrong vs a Joe did me right posting match. I'm not trying to be insensitive to someone wanting their items and waiting over a year or even longer. If he has done someone wrong add him too a bad seller list, file a PP claim, CC claim or do what ever you need to do. Most people by now already know the track record and have read about past dealings with Mego Store so why rehash it over and over and over? Can the Museum make Joe provide better service? The answer is no. Anyway just my two cents.

                      I don't have a problem

                      I don't think we should keep something like this private. It doesn't
                      help the guy who sent his money, and it doesn't help others who
                      might. Everyone who had a complaint about mismatched hands
                      or gloves on the Star Trek figures got satisfaction and it let other
                      people know to watch out for it - including me!

                      Recently it has taken me 4 weeks to get some orders out the door,
                      because of Mattel deadlines, doctor appointments for my son, and
                      some of my molds breaking down. Most people are very patient.
                      One customer asked for a refund because it took longer than
                      2 weeks. I sent his money back and wished him luck.

                      This guy is not an isolated incident - it is a pattern that goes
                      back several years.

                          I have to agree Paul. I too have wait 4 Months, 6, and a Year or more from different Sellers here on the Museum. But I'm DONE with it...they will not get my business ever again!

                          There's just no excuse for poor Customer service...I paid quickly, I want my stuff. I know you don't really like Me Paul...but that's never stopped you from getting my order to me, within 2 weeks or so. Business is business.

                              Well...I wasn't going to mention it again as I had done burried the hatchet and marked it up as another learning experience for the future. However, Since we are back on the topic "again" regarding the Mego store I will chime in hopefully for one last time regarding my issue. Gorn Captain is totally correct this is an on going issue. This has been going on as long as I have been here at The Museum. Nothing at all against The Museum as they have absolutely nothing to do with this issue other than providing a forum for us to exchange information and our opinions.

                              I ordered from Joe (The Mego Store) a long time ago. I got what I ordered. No problems.

                              Round 2 - Since the first order went well I ordered from The Mego Store again at a later date. This time it was not so great. I NEVER received anything that I ordered. I very patiently e-mailed, PM'd, sent messages, posted to the "correct" forum thread and used just about every reasonable avenue I could exhaust. Still no goods. The communication if you will was next to null and was a very terrible experience for me. In the end I felt cheated by someone for whom I once trusted and thought that I could still trust. My lesson had been learned as I continue to watch and read others complain about the same thing over and over and over again.

                              Needless to say I only order from Dr. Mego now. In fact I just placed a $400+ order with Dr. Mego a few hours ago. I have dealt with Dr. Mego at least three times as I had patiently waited for Joe (The Mego Store) to get his act together. Knock on wood I have yet to have any serious order issues from Dr. Mego that was not easily resolved in a very prompt manner. This is why I will continue to patronize Dr. Mego into the future as well.

                              So in the end do I think that it is unreasonable to post feedback whether it be good or bad in a public forum? No, Not at all.
