I would think them being made of soft Rubber would solve the problem. Plus...there are loads of Batman Figures out there, that are made of HARD Plastic.

I would gladly give up the pointy arrow for the boxing glove arrow (which was probably the arrow he used most back then)

Don't care which version we get as long as he doesn't have the stubby ears.

Of course, that costume was officially ret-conned out of existence over 20 years ago, along with the Earth-2 (and others) concept, thanks to "Crisis On Infinite Earths" (though they keep sneaking aspects of it back into the DCU) !
I remember trying to approximate this costume with my Megos as a lad: I'd use Captain Marvel's bodysuit under Robin's costume, which gave him red leggings rather than yellow, and green upper arms. I always wished I'd had a Green Arrow so I could have used his boots, rather than the slippers!

Here's your Earth-2 Robin "The Ex-Boy Wonder"! I could not use the MEGO Robin Head. Those two curls are best kept for a Titans sized Robin. I used a Shazam head. It seems to work just fine. Maybe if MEGO had done this Robin it may have looked like this. But I'm sure that the gloves would have been oven mits.

I hope that we get a Batman that looks like either the original one that The Bat posted or the photoshopped one! I love the Neal Adams look. I also like the proper shape to the bat symbol on the chest. I always thought Mego's was too 'rectangular'.

Yeah...I have the original Batman Comic that Pic is from. Where he let's the Joker push him into the Shark Tank, to save the old man in the Wheelchair. It's one of my favorite Comics!

I love the new Adams Batman!

You took a great custom and made it unbelievable! If Mattel can make it just like that I think it will be the best Mego of all time!

Ya gotta admit...this thread has certainly generated a lot of VOTES(or maybe I should say interest)...for the Photo-shopped version of my Mego Neal Adams style Batman.

Apologies to the sculptor, who did a great job with the original.

I reduced the overall size of the head, I reduced the width, I made the jaw stronger, made the eyes more like Adams drew them, made the eyebrows straight, and made the head taller between the eyebrows and the top of the head. And now it looks like Adams to me! And probably doesn't to someone else! LOL!

Of course, it doesn't exist, and it's easy to manipulate a photo, not as easy to make in 3D.
The one above is dead on perfect! Just like Nayrbgo's avatar , it is a nice fit for the perfect Mego Batman. I'd definitely suggest it as one for the sculptor to look at for reference. I don't think I'd do the fists. Mego only used that for their "Brute Force" characters. Batman is one of many talents, brute force, but he's also an intelectual. Open hands to use weapons would probably work best. (just my opinion).
