Exelllent Bstman. Now that it's been brought up, I wonder if the cowl on the new figure will be removable.
It was mentioned on the other thread that one of the things Mego shouldn't have changed was the removavble cowl.
          Better late than never.....

I'd be very happy if the new Batman looked like that

My opinion is NO removable Cowl, They always look too big. BTW Brian...I'm sure you know that's your Costume.

Man, that's old. Judging by the first wave we are going to get classic looks to characters reflecting what Mego did. Hopefully that means no modern characters...Nightwing, Eradicator, Jim Balent style Catwoman, etc.

I hope the designs stick to the Bronze Age, Mego era, at least until we get through the main characters. And then if we proceeded time-wise accordigly (like Firestorm and then later on Diso-Nightwing) that would be cool.

It would be great if there was both a removable cowl and molded cowl batman and robin (mask) were released, so that everyone would be happy.

I like it. Until I went backwards in the thread I actually thought this was the EMCE prototype and thought "I'm all over that!"

I like the idea of an Adamsesque new WGSH Batman head. Actually, I thought the 12-inch magnetic Batman head was cool & might also serve as inspiration. There're some PEZ heads that are in Adam's style, too.

But I'm so not into cowl shading. I mean, it's OK for the '60s & SuperFriends, but it's not great for a '70's-style WGSH Batman. Personally, I never think of classic Batman with that painted shading.

And let's not forget how Mego ruined Capt. America with that awful deco.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Simply Outstanding..!! THAT'S what would have been the coolest Mego back in the day.

If Mattel remakes Bats, this is the standard. Would LOVE to see a similarly accurate Robin and Batgirl..!

                              Don't step on my toes

I think a lot of people thought that given the title of the thread,
                              and I don't appreciate it.

When we are allowed to show more samples we will, but don't
try to push us in the direction you want, or I'll turn this car
                              right around.

Suggestions are one thing - I am glad to hear opinions - but

                                Prototype

Technically, he didn't label it as your product, he referred to it as "Batman Prototype"; however, I agree that posting it in the EMCE area was wrong, and probably designed to give that impression. I know when I clicked on the topic, I assumed that was the case.
Please folks, lets not ruin a good thing before it gets started; respect Doc's wishes and let him reveal what he can when he can.
