Not everybody knew. I'm still not sure exactly which ones. At first I thought they might be figures but later realized they weren't. Had the right line wrong product. We were just trying to keep the excitement brewing for a little while. Now that the cats out of the bag what ones were in this particular assortment?

I really envy you guys. I bet it smelled like the 70's when you opened those boxes. I hope you breathed it all in deeply--all of that magical, rarified air --before it had a chance to mix with, and become contaminated by, all of the common air that surrounded it.

I bet it smelled like 20 cent comic books and carefree Saturday afternoons. I bet it smelled like Wacky Packs and bubble gum cards. I bet it smelled like the world used to smell, before our noses grew too big and too old to appreciate such childish things.

I bet it smelled like movie theater popcorn, and the latest issues of Famous Monsters Of Filmland and Mad Magazine (40 Cents Cheap). I bet it smelled like Christmas morning, and the last day of school before summer vacation--all rolled into one.

I sure do! And I miss it a lot. I guess my only hopes of having that smell/feeling again is looking into buying up some vintage cases of goodness just as Cast A Way recently did.
