Any interest in a repro Aquaman vs The Great White Shark set?
Here's the totally AWESOME prototype Aquashark box with insert. There will be a few changes that will be made for the production boxes (i.e. thinner chipboard like the original exterior box was made from....also the 4 holes and tab for the Aquaman figure's foot will be included in the production models). But this will at least give everyone an idea of the quality that we are striving to produce. Dengar is doing a Super job and I couldn't be happier. We hope that everyone who acquires one will be very happy as well. Stay tuned.....more to follow soon!
And here (below) is a pic of geoffdude's original box set that was used to make ours (keep in mind that the yellow in this pic is a bit too red...Geoff matched the colors of his with pantone color matching system and that is what dengar used to match the colors perfectly to Geoff's original box and insert seen here.......pretty freakin' awesome if I do say so myself!!!). It's a superb repro even though there are a few subtle changes that will take place including not scoring the acetate window along the top edge on the production models.....it will have a gentle bend like the original cello window as seen below in the original)
I think you'll need to talk to Blue Meanie about that......if I recall correctly he said he has the only one known to exist.......would make a cool set though.

Mmmmmmmmmm.......don't know about that. In order to make a mold and cast the webbed Aqua-hands you'd have to remove the hands which means removing the pin that connects the hand to the wrists first. Personally I don't know anyone in their right mind that would want to do that....other than perhaps myself, but then again I spend a lot of time in my left mind so there you go, LOL.
