I'm looking to replace the moon boots on my Mattel Supes, GA, GL and BM. How are the boots from CTVT?

They are EXCELLENT. I have used them as replacement pieces for those very figures when I find them on the cheap at flea markets. Their like the Mego boots, except a little better because the plastic is a bit softer and more pliable. They slide on easy and fit nicely. You won't be disappointed. -

Some of us just over looked it.
I gave my opinion based on the quality of the CTVT boots. As far as color matching on the new Mattel figures I could not honestly tell you. I have yet to buy any of the Mattel figures as of yet.
I am sure some one here who has will can chime in and let you know the info that you requested.Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009

I like most of the CTVT boots, esp the white & purple ones, & the orange cuffed ones.
The blue ones are too "teal" to be worth much; the yellow ones almost always contain dark specks.
But in material & thickness, they are very Megoesque--a bit softer.
One of my frustrations is that the gold cuffed ones sold out...WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

I found the dark blue klingon-style boots to be molded so thickly that I could not put them on a figure...
The blue hero boots are teal-ish.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

I have a selection of CTVT boots on hand for customs. I like 'em, they work, are sufficiently Mego-ey and they won't break the bank. Although there are better quality ones out there if you have the extra special custom you want to give some extra pizzaz (I'm a fan of the Cast-A-Way boots).Last edited by samurainoir; Jul 24, '10, 1:18 PM.Comment

I really like the CTVT red 'hero' boots for my matty Superman.
They look alittle slimmer from the front than even the old mego 'hero' boots, so from the front Supes has almost a 'Chris Reeve/Superman' boot look to him.
Also, the plastic is easy enough to trim along the top for a more accurate look. Good red color, too, IMO. Also, very easy to slip on and off. Can't beat the price, either.
I know..., I know...'Pictures, Please!'
Well, I have no way to take pictures right now, so the description will have to do.

They have an assortment for sale. 7 pair for $13. All different colors. I put a green set on the Retro Green Lantern and they look good. There is a purple pair for Luthor as well. Good deal, good price! 7 Pair of SuperHero Boots
