I found the dark blue klingon-style boots to be molded so thickly that I could not put them on a figure...
The blue hero boots are teal-ish.

CTVT boots; how are they?

I LOVE the CTVT'S Boots! They can be cut into Batman, or Superman Boots. And the "blue Boots" come in two shades...light & dark blue.

I like most of the CTVT boots, esp the white & purple ones, & the orange cuffed ones.
The blue ones are too "teal" to be worth much; the yellow ones almost always contain dark specks.
But in material & thickness, they are very Megoesque--a bit softer.
One of my frustrations is that the gold cuffed ones sold out...Leave a comment:

I just got my Mattel BM today and the boots would be too light in color for him. Have to see if I'll switch the head out to the Tex Willer BW.Leave a comment:

You did indeed.
Some of us just over looked it.
I gave my opinion based on the quality of the CTVT boots. As far as color matching on the new Mattel figures I could not honestly tell you. I have yet to buy any of the Mattel figures as of yet.
I am sure some one here who has will can chime in and let you know the info that you requested.

Sorry, these are not for Megos but for the Mattel. I thought I had that in there.Leave a comment:

I would tend to agree. I am not into repro stuff for my own personal collection. However, I do keep a rather large amount of supply on hand for customs. I would not ever hesitate to order from CTVT for some of my customizing needs. Their service and prices have been great thus far. They are EXCELLENT. I have used them as replacement pieces for those very figures when I find them on the cheap at flea markets. Their like the Mego boots, except a little better because the plastic is a bit softer and more pliable. They slide on easy and fit nicely. You won't be disappointed.

Are they okay for Batman, GA or GL color-wise? The blue seems kinda light and I guess the green is okay, appear a little darker than Mattel's.Leave a comment:
