    Like this?

If Marty does decide to take this mego thing anyplace, this would be a good one to start.
Some more current looking AJ figures. I few different heads on them, like some mentioned in this tread. Then, put some hands on them that can actually hold the accessories.
Last, I would upgrade the arm/shoulder, so at the very least, it would work like the original Teen Titan body. Slap together a TV commercial with some kids in the back yard and who knows!

I think the head sculpt should have had a more rugged look to it, and would have liked to see add on's to the jungle house as far as playsets go.

I would have also liked to see AJ have a female counterpart. Sort of a 99 type, It sure made Max happy!

I like Blackbeard for the bearded AJ.
Just thinking that the doll series were named Action Jackson and GI Joe, but Joe's team was named Adventure Team. ...Maybe a team name...Bold Adventure? It would fit with the song.
Galahad or Lancelot for the main head? Lance would look cool. Of course Pota Naut actually LOOKS like the drawing of AJ on the figure box. And Deacon isn't a Mego sculpt but he is a cool AA AJ sculpt I think.

That beard has got to GO!

He looks like a holdover from the hippie era with that thing.

Ned Flanders is better looking that Action Jackson, and man that is really saying something!

I have actually been goofing around with Action Jackson --- This was my first idea on what would have been cooler than a jumpsuit..... I am reworking the belt and holster idea --
I am also re-working the Jungle adventure look --- with a web belt and such.
There is definately a lot that could have been done with AJ.

I would use the Bruce Wayne head with blue eyes like 'Mystery Astronaut' I always thought he looked cool in that AJ Baravelli ad. Thats how AJ should have looked.

I'd make him look visually like AJ, but actually make him handsome and rugged, not ugly and effeminate. Take the bearded version of the original sculpt, and somehow rework it, but keep it recognizable. Make him a Chuck Norris-in-his-prime looking guy. Go with the darker blue jumpsuit and tive him some utility pouches/pockets and a belt.

The outfits could definitely use updating; how about urban adventure?

Long leather like duster, turtleneck, slacks and boots, along with shoulder holster and shades.

Did AJ ever have a formal outfit, i.e. a tuxedo? Well, one of those would be nice. Something that wouldn't look out of place on James Bond.

For casual butt kicking of bad guys, I'd suggest jeans, workboots, and a fitted t-shirt.
No tux But he had a rugby & Golf

Agree completely. I would love a scaled down 12" GI JOE Adventure Team type of thing (but then again, I had those as a kid). Some Major Matt Mason influence certainly would be appreciated too, if we're doing "blue sky" sort of imagining (IMHO).
