REMCO 9 IN. MONSTERS question

Here we go....
The early release of the figures had bodies with a hole in the neck and heads with neck plugs (from this point on we will call them "Remco Type 1") basically similar to the Mego style. The later release had a stem on the body for the head to plug onto (from this point on called "Remco type 2") similar to the AHI heads. My theory on the time frame is based solely on the body type of Creature who was released well after the first 4 figures.
My assumption is that the heads were re-engineered to accommodate the bodies of the Remco "Monsters At Home" puppet line in which Creature was also released. I cannot confirm this because I don't have any of the Monsters at Home puppets but I would guess that they would be type 2 heads. Hopefully someone else who has one can confirm/deny this.
The Remco Type 1 torso was glued together, where as the Remco Type 2 body has 3 screws in the back. The "monster crush" buttons on the back are different as well as the copyright info on the butts. While they are both stamped 1979, the Type 1 is made in Hong Kong, Type 2 made in China. The Type 2 butts have the Universal Studios copyright, while Type 1 does not.
There are also major differences in the heads if you look at the pic below. (type 2 on the left, Type 1 on the right). I have also seen at least 3 different styles of Shoes for Dracula. the Frankenstein boot style, a low cut slip on pointed toe style and what I would descibe as a GI Joe style boot a little higher with faintly molded laces.
My Remco monster Shiznit! Boo Ya!!!
