Thing was my favorite Mego and character along with Spider-man. I would love to see any size version as long as it's a classic look like the original Mego.

I would say vintage body and then reissue with longer legs and arms. I would say just a half inch more length in thighs and calves and bicep and forearm or even just the calves and forearm with wrist and ankle articulation and it would greatly reduce the tooling costs while making both groups happy. Happyish anyway.Comment

I would prefer updated/improved figures for all the characters, not just Hulk and Thing. Don't get me wrong, I loved the line as a kid but I also wasn't blind to their shortcomings, particularly the "Shazam" figure. For years afterward, I would make lists of all the improvements I would make to them, so I'm happy to see this being done. At the same time, 50th anniversary repros are nice for nostalgia, but as someone said, they're not exact. I can understand the body mechanics being updated, the "inner workings" but I have no idea why the hands would be so different.
In any case, I might pick up one or two repros, but I'm more looking forward to improved figures. I liked the new Robin, Penguin, Joker, Riddler, and Captain Marvel. And all-new figures, like Kang (although I'm STILL waiting for Kor!!). New Marvel figures are welcome, with more comics accurate Silver/Bronze age costumes for all the Avengers.Comment

They should be released as they were in the past for the 50th Anniversary set, and altered and updated for the general Marvel release. Since the 50th Anniversary figures are supposed to be reproductions, they should be unaltered. They have released several variations of the individual DC characters, so that is how the Marvel figures should be made to us.Comment
