8" 50th Anniversary Superman's Chest emblem, costume and body should've mimic the 14" Superman in every conceivable way...Why would they give us sticky paper for the chest emblem...Bummer !!!

I was searching ebay earlier today for 50th Anniversary figures and besides the way out over pricing for especially Shazam and Green Arrow, there was a Superman new in box never removed and the chest sticker was missing, guessing it just peeled off and dropped to the bottom.

I know the idea was to duplicate the earlier versions of the figures, but the fabric stickers that showed up late in the line (mostly saw them on the French carded figures, though my original Supergirl had one like that, too) were pretty much perfect. Removable like the paper stickers, but they didn't crinkle and molded much better to the chests. They could fray with a lot of use, but I still have a few that look good as new in my parts box.

Is there a reason the FTC Joker box could replicate the font used on the original Mego box, but Mego 50th anniversary couldn’t?
