The more the merrier I say

The expansion of the Star Trek universe isn’t slowing down any time soon. Since Alex Kurtzman and his colleagues at Secret Hideout took the helm of the Star Trek television universe, six new Star Trek series have emerged. It began with Star Trek: Discovery, continued with Star Trek: Picard, and progressed further with Star Trek: […]

CBS went into reevaluation on all Trek properties several months ago.Since the shows are weekly releases, they follow a normal Live+7 viewing model. So for STD evryrything rests on season 3 retention. Both it and PIcard lost half their viewers by the finale. I think it was a steeper drop for PIcard.

As of now It looks like they'll move onto the Pike series, which makes sense as most streaming shows are canceled after three seasons.

Does the Amok Time announcement mean there's going to be a new Frankenstein? The one issued before was a little generic, somewhat resembling Lon Chaney. Maybe the new one will look like Karloff, but what would really be cool would be a Glenn Strange monster! Ygor and John Carradine Dracula would also be cool.

Whaddaya mean? Since the show premiered, I've found the taglines write themselves:

"Catch STD on CBS All Access!"
"Sign up for STD and more!"
"CBS All Access -- your place for STD!"
"Looking for STD? Look no further!"
    "STD free this month!"
    "Explore the frontier with STD!"
    "Bring home STD tonight!"
"All the STD you can handle, from CBS All Access!"

So what's with the W10 Frank? Is it the original release with neck bolts and a Universal Monster cardback? They need to give him burn marks so he's more Bride-ish
I would do Pike, Spock and Number 1 since they are spinning that off of Discovery. As someone else said, I believe that one is out the door soon

I've been seeing DIS and DSC being the primary abbreviations used on various sites. Which one is "correct" seems to depend on who you're talking to.

Ultraman is the figure of greatest interest for me in this wave. I'm not a huge horror fan, so another horror-heavy wave means some relief for my pocketbook! I'm curious about the Star Trek figures, but would definitely prefer to see more love being given to the original series. I'm assuming the Pike figure will be based on Pike from Star Trek: Discovery, not The Cage. I wonder if he'll be in the blue uniform he wore while he was on Discovery, or in the yellow command shirt he wore while on the Enterprise? I'd definitely prefer the yellow shirt over of the blue uniform!

Maybe the monsters can be in two backs with Dr. Frankenstein, Dr. Pretorius, Renfield, Fritz etc to offer something extra we never had before.
I just swapped my Emce Dracula's outfit with the Bela one really clicked into place too.

I am interested in the ST Discovery figures as potential custom fodder but not as figures from a show I have never seen and have no real interest in. The Saru figure, with a change of clothes, should look good as a crew member on Kirk’s Enterprise.

I like DISCO as a better abbreviation. I'm looking forward to putting these in my Trek display, and imagining what it would have been like as a little boy to have had a time travel adventure with these figures from the future, er, past.
