Whose going to turn their Bride of Frankenstein into a Star Trek Ensign? Just kidding but that was always my favorite thing about my megos when I was little was turning random characters into Trek fodder.

I think Mego is being smart with the way they are moving forward to push for longevity. The Monsters route seems to be a really big hit in the toy world and I am thinking that it is what is generating money for us to get some of these smaller characters that we have wanted.

So what's with the W10 Frank? Is it the original release with neck bolts and a Universal Monster cardback? They need to give him burn marks so he's more Bride-ish

The original Ultraman suit seems to be sporting slippers in that photo on the card back, so that should be easy enough to make if you're not a fan of the silver boots.

At first look at the photos, I was even thinking of trimming the boots down.

I don't really know anything about the Ultraman character, but that is an outstanding Mego that I can't wait to buy!

As I love the original Popy figures, I dig the boots… plus they are metallic silver, which adds to the Mego parts list.

Also, the silver section of the suit might continue down the lower leg, if so, you could just pull the boots off (thus having a look closer to the original design) and give them to me for customs!

Do not care for the boots but other than that the figure looks good.

That looks great. I really hope we get monsters. I wonder if the whole body is silver? That would be great for customs. I'm thinking Micronauts, Captain Atom's second costume.

I would have LOVED to have this figure back in '73/'74.

It looks exactly like I imagined a Mego Ultraman to look.
