Ugh! Just what I feared. Doesn't look like Jaclyn Smith. Her eyes were wider set and smaller. They didn't even put Jaclyn Smith's picture on the card. But people will buy it because it has the Charlie's Angels logo on it. The old Hasbro figure is still better in my opinion, and since I already own it, there is no need for me to buy this inferior type version. On the plus side, I do like the outfit she's wearing. It does look like something Kelly wore on the show: The bell bottoms and fuzzy top. The gun and purse are a nice touch, too! Just wish it was a better likeness.

I keep reading about Marty and Doc all over these new Mego threads. And I keep thinking Marty and Doc should do Back to the Future.
Whether they do or they dont I just want to say THANK YOU to Marty and Doc and Andy and all involved with making this happen. I cant remember when I was this excited over a new toy. Maybe because its not just a new toy but the return of the Greatest toy company ever!
It makes me think about when I was a kid, and my parents and grandparents were alive and the Christmases we had together and Megos we got. Or when they would take us to Kiddie City and Kmart, tons of Megos there. I remember one year my brother and I were in the hospital together in the same room. We both got a Mego Wolfman. He was upset afterwards cause he left his there. I remember once our parents took us on a day trip to Seaside, NJ and all the Jersey shores had these wheels that cost a quarter to play. On that day I saw one of the Coolest things ever, they had a Mego wheel. It was awesome, every prize was a Mego action figure. I left there with a boxed Thing and my brother got a boxed sir Launcelot. That was a Great day!!Last edited by ZombieJimC; Jul 19, '18, 4:47 PM.Comment

By now, it's pretty clear that Mego has a deal with CBS/Paramount and Sony Pictures Television.
I'm particularly excited with the Sony license because I like a lot their shows. Besides Charlie's Angels, Jeannie, Facts of Life, and Married With Children, here is a partial list of television series produced, distributed or owned by Sony Pictures Television, a Sony company that we might see in the next Mego wave.

Fantasy Island would rule! Down with Sanford and Son and Good Times, though I would only buy Fred Sanford and JJ Evans. Haha.Last edited by Remco Monster; Jul 20, '18, 12:28 PM.Comment

I’d love to see “Emergency!” and even Adam-12 figures...”Emergency!” It’s still very popular in syndication. They had a huge signing in L.A. 5 days ago with fans waiting outside for up to 5 or 6 hours for autographs. The squad and engines are the the main attraction at the museum and they all been restored.
The did well for LJN. Maybe they did much better for Mego. “Emergency” has a surprisingly large fanbase.Rampart, this is Squad 51. How do you read?Comment
