Untill then. dont think that I will take out any of the FTC Cyborg out of package.
Definitely a wise decision! I bought that Mego Jimmy Hendrix less than a year ago MIB from an online retailer. In the package, his jacket was fine. But I'm not an MIB collector. I pulled the figure out and moved his arms up, and, instantly, his pleather jacket began to 'flake'. In his case, I didn't really care because I didn't want the figure for/as 'Jimmy Hendrix', but rather the 45-year-old comic book character Sabre (whose look was modeled on Jimmy Hendrix, specifically in that same outfit). The Sabre character lives in a post-apocalyptic America, so having his pleather jacket flaking was actually kind of in line with the character as I re-envisioned him. So fine.

But man, the FTC Cyborg outfit 'disintegrating' and that Yellow Daredevil: yeah, they definitely stung a little..... But my bad experience/lesson can be your gain! (And I am genuinely happy if that can be the case. Silver lining!)

There is no wave 19 Cyborg yet unless someone has seen one for pre order. I don't think Mego can still do DC without the license and would cost them money to sit on the license from 2024 -2026 with no figure sales. The material that falls apart on the new megos is called pleather on other sites and this garbage sucks,. Mego Batman Beyond , Rocketeer, Devilina
Fonzie etc have this garbage and FTC used it too.

Yeah, people are starting to wonder. Can it really be so hard to give us an update on that, Mego?

Guess I'll have to take a look at my FTC Cyborg and check on his condition. What I've noticed already is that the red dye of my FTC Shazam's suit has 'bled' profusely. His belt is now practically invisible because it has turned completely red ... Of course Mego has had this problem too, with their first 8 " Flash figure.

I appreciate all the wisdom from others, Thank you.

I really feel for you on those figures. I wanted to break open one set of each Diamond select but will reconsider the DareDevil. Will now not break open one of my headless horsemen... I really wanted to display him...

Kind of weird buying figures and not being able to open them up... I like MIB but also like to have one loose of each figure.

Again, appreciate all the tips from members here.

Im really disappointed on the pleader issue, I just bought another Devilina figure last week. Another figure that I wont break open.

I`m still hopeful that Mego will surprise us on the DC front.

Who would of expected the Marvel figures to come out ?

              Hopeful.

All my Flash figures have red dye bleed in the boots in package. Big drag since such a nice figure.

Dont know if Dr.Mego sells replacement boots for that very same figure.
