Yes, it seems like things just suddenly came to a stop. I’m hoping to see more figures released at some point soon, but I’m not holding my breath. I’m guessing will see another 4 set of marvel/Disney figures in the future but what figures and when is something we’re going to have to wait and see. As far as Mego and DC is concerned, I’m guessing this might be it, and it was a fun run. It would be cool though if they decided to make Batman vehicles like Batmobile and Batcopter, maybe a Batboat and Batcycle.

I`m not giving up on new Mego releases.
As for the Disney sets. I just hope that they will not just give us the remaining EMCE figures that came out before.

Disney Avengers set sold pretty good from what I can tell so at least 7 more. I wan't Dr Doom, Daredevil, Punisher, Deadpool, Wolverine,Dr Strange, and male Black Panther. than I can move on from 8"retro because I just don't think DC, Star Trek, Universal Monsters are coming back to Mego.
if Disney start Mego X-men than I am good with that but I am not good with fake wave 19 tease from 2024-2026 and no 50th Supergals .

There's so much potential in Mego, even if not DC or a major franchise.
Mego has always been about nostalgia.
I'd love to see them dip their toes in some 80s and 90s franchises.

Even if Mego doesn't do wave 19, couldn't they go a digital route? I assume the head sculpts have a digital file. They could post the files and charge for download for 3d printing. Put them under a generic name, like Spectre is the Spectral Ghost, Demon is Demonic Monster, CYBORG is Mechanical Man etc.. Ebay sellers already do this with heads. If they had any of the costumes made, sell them as " hero outfits". CTVT already does this. Their repro Cap and Iron Man outfits are sold as hero outfits. I guess the lawyers haven't come knocking yet. This is how I got a Cap and Iron Man over a year before the Disney sets. CTVT is clever this way. I know they had a license for Conan figures a while ago, but after it expired, they sold excess parts as warrior heads and barbarian accessories. This is how I put together my Conan a while ago. As for the Super Gals, I got all mine from CTVT. I think their female bodies aren't bad. Seem more solid than their repro type 2s. Have a little trouble standing, but female figures have small feet.Comment
