I placed my preorder at the Disney EU store. Still wondering what the deal is with this European release. Are we getting the 'leftovers' from the initial batch of 4,000 or are they actually producing additional sets for the EU market? Sure hope it's the latter ...

I placed my preorder last night. Of course I realize all kinds of things can go wrong until October ... But right now I don't want to think about that. I'm even happy with the price for the set: 90 € incl. shipping. That's actually less per figure than I usually pay for my Megos.

Trying to get a second set from someone in California but was advised that the Disney store sold out on Saterday.

I have to admit I didn't even try this time. When the Spidey set was announced I kept trying both the US Disney site as well as the EU site. Of course the EU store never carried that set and on the US site it said they wouldn't ship to Germany ... But what do you know? It says this item won't ship until Oct. 5th, but it's still fantastic news to be sure.

Hope we will get a release date for the next DC wave soon and you won't have any trouble finding these figures. Flash and GA were pretty elusive, but I'm a bit surprised you're still missing Dr Fate. I buy most of my Mego figures at BBTS and they stocked up pretty well on that last DC wave.

I am from Canada and had no problem getting in the cue, are EU countries not able ?

As for DR Fate, I just started buying the figures in the last 2 months. I am very late in the game.
Canada seems sold out of DR Fate. The big U.S. online sellers are also sold out. If anyone knows were some are, would appreciated the tip.

I am looking forward to the next DC wave , will be on time for those now that I know.

Hope you do get a EU release, Megos were everywhere in the past. Everyone deserve a chance to get these.

After I compared what I paid for this set directly from Disney and what I paid on the secondary market for my Spidey set, you are looking at $20 Can more per set.

Since I was not aware last Dec of the Spidey set, its a $20 I can justify for my igorance. Plus I have no choice if I wanted the set.

The Disney way of selling these is not very appealing. The Disney shipping charges are very high for us Canadians and international customers.

What can we do.

Been working for the past week to get another set, still working on it... if it pans out for me, will send you the info for you to get one.

This is a very tedious way to get Mego figures,,,

On the Spidey set, I was late, my fault, but going forward, would like to get them easier.

Hell, I still have not found any Dr Fate, Flash or the Green Arrow from the 50 th release.

I just bought on Ebay 3 Green Lanterns at 30$ Can each from the same seller so I had only one shipping charge. Like I said , I am late on the game and have extras to pay to get them.

It sucks...

Yeah, looks like intern. fans are more or less left out of this Marvel Party. I'm in Germany and have no way to contact a Disney Shopper. I'm not going to pay crazy eBay prices for the Spidey or FF set. I might only do that if they make a 'perfect set' with 4 figures I really, really want. I've heard rumors about a European release for the FF set. That would be great, but those rumors haven't been confirmed yet. I was overjoyed when I first heard about the Mego Marvel deal - and terribly disappointed when these 'exclusive sets' turned out to be just that ... I still kinda enjoy looking at the Marvel stuff here and on YouTube and I'm glad for all my fellow fans who actually got their hands on these figures. I didn't think I would like the coin as much as I do. It has some of the best FF artwork ever produced, and like the Spider-Man coin, it harkens back to the 70s. Really cool touch.

But why would you want to pay scalper prices to get a second set?

Although I may have to resort to doing that if I want a set. Ugh.

My set also arrived yesterday at super time. The UPS driver was honest and told me he had it 2 days in his truck and was just to busy to deliver it. What are my chances od getting a refund on the delivery charges from Disney... lol
