....I no longer have FOMO regarding Mego. If I'm able to get 'em great and if not...oh well. The problematic bandless bodies they have been using took most of any enthusiasm I had.

Sold out in less than 1 hour. Got busy at work and when I checked at 1145, the FF were all gone.

Hope those who really wanted were able to get a set.

Trust me, will be on my computer on time to try and get a few sets. These wont make it to Canada in the after market. I spent lots of money buying the Spidey 4 Pack on the aftermarket just to get the Electro figure. I have my original Mego`s from the 70`s. Wanted that electro.

In the FF, my Reed Richard has a discolered head but I have a mint on card Sue Richard... So the FF set will be welcome.

Best of luck to all of you to get a least one set !

As a kid, I really, really liked The Thing. I 'kind of' liked the Human Torch. But I had no particular interest whatsoever in Reed Richards or Sue Storm. I can vividly remember reading an issue of the FF comic book featuring the Micronauts (which was why I bought it) when I was in elementary school and thinking that Reed Richards looked and acted like 'an old man.' I tried to like FF again during John Byrne's highly praised run when I was a teenager. But even then, the FF never moved the needle for me personally. (The exceptions that prove the rule: the Silver Surfer and Doctor Doom.)
It's interesting that Reed was supposed to be older. When I read modern comics, and the Flash is talking about his "Insta," I get even more turned off. The adult characters, written by adults, sound like teenagers.

When I was a kid, the heroes were adults, and it was kind of aspirational, Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Indiana Jones, He-Man, Lee Majors, even Spider-Man was paying rent, so that was adult to me. Today, EVERY character in children's lit and TV has to be a kid or a teenager, and worse, set in a school. All of the new Spidey cartoons, all of the new comic characters, like Ms. Marvel and Blue Beetle are based on the teenage hero Spidey formula, all of the Harry Potter clones. It's all the same.

I don't know why adult comic and lit editors today are so fearful of kids reading about adult characters. All of the kids reading comics are reading manga, not American books, so the current strategy is not working.

I’m a little surprised that there is no new character here, but I am pleased to get all four in one shot.
