Bats looks ok, I've never liked that color scheme for him, and really don't like the short sleeves trend that FTC seems to be going to.

I'm with you. I wish they would leave them a bit longer, even if they left them un-hemmed, and tuck them down into the gloves. Or maybe go with different gloves that slip over a regular arm instead of these so the sleeve could just be the regular length. I'm still not sure I'm a fan of these "hand-replacement" gloves.

Black Highlights!!!

Nice! That was pretty much my thinking. It needed some black highlights to bring out more of that sculpt. Looking so much better now. I'll probably end up getting this one and customizing it up some. Some potential there for sure. I think I would even go more expressive with the eyes. Adams tended to make his eye's slimmer with a bit of angst to them. Lots of room to play around on this sculpt and come up with some interesting variations.

It's not bad, but I don't really care for the scrawny neck on Batman. I'm not seeing a lot of Neal Adams there, myself, but I'm picky. I think the Jakks Big Fig captures that look better.

Looks more like a Don Newton Batman through the face. That's not a bad thing at all, but I just wish his neck was thicker.

I don't mean to be Debbie Downer here as a new kid, and as I said RE: the ISIS post in the custom forum, I'm not as into it as I'd say the rest of you, but how many Batmans have they put out in variant form so far? In a short span of time, it's become as bad as the endless Han and Luke figures when Kenner/Hasbro relaunched the Star Wars line in the mid-1990s.

It worries me because of all the figures they could release that have yet to be released. Still no Hawkman. Still no Black Canary. Still no Lex Luthor?!!? They might've released Atom and I just can't see him at his current size (HA! Seewhatahdidthere?). Why not a Black Adam that isn't suffering from macrocephaly like the Mattel version?

On Batman Wave 4...

I'm kind of bummed that Ras Al Ghul is not wearing a green suit. But the bulkiness of the clothes might help with the scale of the head.

The Batman head sculpt looks great, I like the changes to Gordon, happy to see Ra finally getting released, I'll have to pass on Scarecrow since it looks the same as the one I already have. Overall, nice assortment. Things are really coming to fruition, tons of previously announced figures are finally hitting. I predict TT and Scooby Doo are next.

This wave looks really nice. These seem like a good blend of Mego aesthetic and comic book accuracy... I could see myself buying all 4.
