Thanks for the input Toycade. I am more forgiving when it comes to price I guess. I noticed the increase, but also noticed that this basically gave 4 new figures. If it is a figure that I really want, I'll get it. An extra $5 isn't going to stop me. These are highly detailed and the others in the line look great on display. That being said, other than Alfred, I haven't been chomping at the bit to get any of these particular figures. They are great I've been waiting for Batgirl, at least one Catwoman, and a Riddler in his green suit. I was hoping that by now they would have at least repackaged the original Riddler figure in the different costume, especially being they they have the head mold and green suits and bowler hats on the CTTV site. Yes, I'd rather have the "other" Riddler and a fresh head sculpt, but both actors wore both costumes at one time or another. This would be a valid figure.

I am wondering if this new price point represents the rest of the figure lines as well. Most of the other lines seem more "toy" like and less collectable. Also, most of the rest don't have specific actor likenesses. They are based off comics or cartoons.

Just something to look forward to.

In the end, I'd rather pay the extra $5 and get a good quality figure than have them skimp on quality.

Which is fine. If people don't like the price increase and choose not to buy at full price, that's cool. That's why I skipped the EE set. It went beyond what I was willing to spend on these.

But slow or no sales until items go on clearance will kill a line.

Well, I've already bought the figures I wanted. So if I get a Newmar Catwoman and a Craig Batgirl...I don't care if the 66 line ends. On to the comic characters like a Adams Batman & Robin I say!

In a perfect world, I would buy every figure in every wave of every series that FTC produces.

Unfortunately, I don't live in a perfect world, I live in the real world.
And in the real world I am forced to choose the figures that are the most important for me to own because I just can't afford everything and I just don't have the room for everything.
I'm going to assume that some of you might be in the same boat that I'm in.

In my case, I've decided that the 2 lines that I'm going to collect are KISS & Batman 66.
I may buy other figures (Here & There) from FTC but these are my main 2 lines AND even with this, I'm NOT buying any KISS figures that feature the Tommy Thayer or Eric Singer lineup but that's a whole other story within itself.
That being said, the price increase doesn't really bother me all that much because this is a set of 4 really nice detailed figures and no repeats in this wave.

People were complaining that they were tired of Batman & Robin variants being included in the waves so FTC is offering this wave of 4 brand new characters.
Now, some are upset over the slight price increase.

Look, I'm not trying to tell anyone what to buy or even what to think.
However, lines can and do end if the support isn't there.
I also collect the 7" "Planet of the Apes" figures from NECA.
These might be the best action figures ever made (IMO) but it's looking as if the line is going to end due to lack of sales.

I don't want to see that happen to the Batman 66 line from FTC and I'll do my part to make sure it doesn't happen.

For those who think that the line is coming close to an end anyway, there are so many more characters that could be added if we want them.
We've all seen and taken part in "Wish Lists" of what we'd like to see added to this line and there is plenty more that FTC could do IF the support is there.
True, some of the licenses may cost more than others and thus, prices may go up from time to time but if you've already invested in this line, wouldn't you want to complete it?

Okay, not all of the characters from my last can or will be made but the point is, the line doesn't have to be close to an end.

Maybe get Alfred and Tut but I think I'm done ,that price point is a bit much now.
Maybe if my wage went up 20% a year like the figure increase I might not care...lol
In all seriousness I think it's getting a bit expensive.

Sure it would be great to buy each of these when produced, but you have to do be disappointed that Penguin
(both) never received his umbrella (that's his trademark) Mr.Freeze not getting his freeze gun another
trademark item not included with the figure, the increase in price can make you shake your head, but
if you want them bad enough and love the Batman TV show, then buy them, because if you act to late
you'll be seeing them going on eBay at twice the price, I don't think FTC will be marking these down
                anytime soon.

I have no problem with the increase with 4 NEW figures.

10 years ago we would have paid many more times than $29.99 for customs....just sayin'

Sold off my 66 figures and I'm out on that line. They are not good enough for that price.

I am a huge Batman 66 fan. And haven't bought a single figure. I don't know why. They just don't... I don't know.. they just don't grab me. The price increase just seals the deal, and I will likely just focus on the Tweeterhead line of statues for my Bat fix.

Is that horrible of me? I feel kinda guilty not supporting the line, but something isn't right with them.

Just placed my pre-order. With FTC getting this deep in the series, it makes sense to finish the run. It's been an excellent series.

I don't mind (myself) the 66 Batman price ... These figures are a step above the others (in my opinion) ... that said, I wouldn't mind a freeze gun or umbrella accessory once in a while.

Part of me says that 30 bucks is way too much for a thing like this.
The other part says that we are used to underpaying for things. I'm sure these figures are expensive to develop and manufacture and FTC is doing a great job with this line.
Still, at 30 dollars, I'd want it on an S-Type body. FTC's quality should reflect that price.

Since it seems official that Mr. Freeze wont come with his gun,...and the gun prop is something from Lost in Space show, can or does anyone here have the 9" Trendmaster Don West figure and can make a mold out of his Space Rifle, have it cast in Blue, and sell them here in the group for those of us who buy Mr. Freeze?????
