I really hope Julie Newmar Catwoman is in wave 5. Eartha can wait. Julie should be first. We have waited long enough. I doubt a Batmobile is coming. If Hot Toys couldn't do it, because of Mattel's no moving wheels, I doubt FTC could. I think a 1966 Batcave is probably what Is being hinted at. I also really hope Gordon is coming, because I will never buy an O'Hara without Gordon. For the record, I do want a Batmobile and would LOVE for that to be the big surprise. I just don't want to get my hopes up.Comment

Pretty sure the "wheels" problem still persists. If they were to make a Batmobile, it would have to be with wheels that do not move. I sat on the phone with them for quite a while and brainstormed ways to bring a fixed wheels Batmobile to market. A Batmobile with tires removed as if it were being worked on? Uh....no. A Batmobile that just kind of scoots? Uh...no. A "Battle Damaged Batmobile?" Uh...no. Just can't think of a way to make it happen.Comment

While that does help solve a problem, I just don't think that is a viable product. You would have to include a pamphlet explaining why this is a "Batmobile with wheels that don't move but can come off so that you can go to a hobby store, buy a part, and create wheels that move yourself." It's going to be real head scratcher for the casual consumer. Also poses a retail nightmare scenario of returns. For instance, when FTC sold replica belts, we carried both the "replica" belts made of metal and the "commemorative" belts made of plastic. Every commemorative belt came with a description that read:
"THIS BELT IS MADE OF PLASTIC! IT IS NOT MADE OF METAL! YOU ARE PURCHASING A PLASTIC BELT! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BELT IF YOU WANT A METAL BELT! IF YOU WANT A METAL BELT, PURCHASE A REPLICA BELT! THIS IS NOT A REPLICA BELT!" Guess what? Tons of returns from people wanting a metal belt. I guarantee you if I sell 100 Batmobiles advertised with non-rolling wheels, 35 will come back. No thanks.Comment
