My kids love Harry Potter, so I'm sure I'll be getting some of those.

Toy Timelord hit it all on the head for me, right down to the Dr Who figures!

HP should be cool, but it is a little stale at this time. I could see reading the books to a child and then giving them the toys. If there is another set of HP universe books/movies, they may become relevant again. I still think it is ripe for a cartoon along the lines of Avatar. 1 year = 1 book.

The DC line will probably get the bulk of my toy money as long as the figures look good.

The 66 line has definitely reached the pick and choose point. I didn't even remember Shame as a character. Batgirl, Catwoman, and Green Suit Riddler will probably be the end of it for me unless there is something really spectacular I see.

And still very much annoyed that the Dr Who line got cut off prematurely! The figures I did get are now in a box that gets a small kick of annoyance every now and then for the disappointment it caused. Small kick and a whispered "*******s".

If FTC ever decided to pick up the license for Who, even I'd be interested in some of it, and I'm not a big fan. I watched the Pertwee episodes as a kid on PBS, and I'd likely get stuff from that era, but I can see the other stuff as great custom fodder if proportions are right.Comment

I'd be pleased with Doctors Two, Three, Five, Seven, Eight, Ten, and Twelve, and an assortment of villains and companions. It is ridiculous that we got Scaroth and not a Yeti, or Ice Warrior or Zygon.

Scaroth is a bit toyetic, but when you have such strong villains as Sutekh and Morbius, Scaroth seems like a weak entry. I can understand the choice of Crispy! Master, but a Delgado Master would have been sweeter. I'd have even taken an Ainley.

And a Salamander would have been another sweet addition, especially with last year's recovery of Enemy of the World.Last edited by Toy Timelord; Feb 3, '15, 3:01 AM.Comment

At the time, I was in for any Doctor they would push out. My hope was for at least a wave for each Doctor. 1 Dr, 1 Companion, 2 villains. Then on to the next.

 *sigh*

Always glad to hear about additions to the line, but I am also curious (and hopeful) to see (non-Fist-Fighting) Green Arrow, Aquaman and Shazam on traditional cards.Comment
