Tarzan's Greatest Adventure and Tarzan the Magnificent aren't just good Tarzan movies--they're as good or better than any adventure film that came out during that time. It's also kind of cool seeing a pre-Bond Sean Connery playing a bad guy. It's a bummer there are no mangani in the films, but Scott's portrayal is definitely a close match to Burroughs' character. Greystoke really got the jungle stuff right, but the last half--though interesting at times ("He was my father!")--could lose some viewers with the slower pace.

I think Scott was the first articulate Tarzan.

Mahoney's not bad either despite being 44.

I've read almost all of the ERB series. I think they're fun reading. I also like the Filmation series(I own a bootleg collection on DVD) and a few movies.

The first Tarzan that i ever saw was the 60s tv series with Ron Ely in syndication on a local channel in the 70s,i loved it ,then mego put out the
Tarzan which i was disappointed did not look like him (as a kid i didnt know the facts),however i liked the figure ,and DC was doing the
comic book at the time ,so i thought that was why he looked that way,i have since bought Tarzan 60s series on dvd ,and even though its
been decades since i seen the show ,i still like it,never saw the movies, but i do remember the cartoon,if it ever hits on dvd ,ill get it for
          sure.

I'd love to see both a Filmation animated and a Ron Ely version of. Tarzan.

Got my extras, so just missing Tarzan right now.

Jane: The sunken neck problem has been fixed. hopefully for good. THe figure is good; I see what folks are saying about the head looking oversized, but it's actually about the same as a regular Mego female head. The way the hair is pulled back revealing so much of the forehead and the eyes being painted quite big make it appear larger than it really is. Still not bad enough to spoil the figure, and nowhere in the Bizarro range.

Meriem: Okay, but an odd body choice considering her boyfriend Korak is full sized. The costume and bow are well done, though the boots are prone to falling off (the Wonder Girl boots apparently need the costume underneath to fit right).

Korak: So simple, but the best new figure in the non- Bat '66 lines. The head is perfect scale, and the sculpt is excellent, like some of the best Megos. I was also surprised by the new shoulder articulation with the hinge joint (new on the regular body, anyway). If they keep making the figures like this one, I'll be VERY happy.
