FTC is my FAVORITE toy company because it has brought back our FAVORITE action figures of all time- Mego 8"! April 16, 2013 when FTC made its announcements of new licenses is BEST Mego DAY after 1982 EVER! I have collected multiples of ALL DC and Batman TV, and also got Dukes and KISS Series 1 set! Anxiously awaiting Super Friends, Conan, Tarzan, Gilligan, and NEW announcements! 2015 looks to be BEST FTC YEAR YET! And I enjoy sharing it with YOU my fellow megomuseum members! I am 44 and I feel 4 again! Thank you, FTC!

Stooges? Someone is talking Stooges in 8" form?

I love the range of licenses we're seeing; it is very much in the tradition of Mego. My only wish here was that they had the Marvel license. as well, but DC is enough super heroing for now.

I do believe there was some mention of the Stooges, maybe in one of The Farrow's recent interviews?

Thanks! I'll have to poke around and see; that would be such good news. I grew up on the Stooges in the afternoon, after school, and would love to have some really good figures of the whole crew.

With all of the others, the DC Superheroes are still my favorites! I'm really looking forward to the Super Friends. The only way that could be better would be if they did Justice League Unlimited!

Don't even say that jeffbearco! I actually Quit TOYS after Famous Covers ended.....UNTIL I bought myself a 1 time purchase (yeah right) of a JLU Wonder Woman at TRU for $4.99, since WW was an OBSESSION for me as a boy! I became a RABID OCD-driven JLU (& some JL) collector. I LOVE that Mattel completed the FULL roster of The JLU with the final 7-pack (Crimson Avenger, The Creeper, Dr. Midnight, GYPSY, Johnny Thunder, Thunderbolt, Speedy)! I couldn't believe Mattel put out every single DC superhero shown on the Cartoon that was a card carrying JLU member! Most of them had cameos only a few seconds long w/ no dialog! I also am stoke Mattel release 31 of the 60 SECRET SOCIETY/Legion of Doom villains + dozens of other featured villains! Villains should double heroes in an deal toyline for me! So I have x3-4 of all figures from JLU (except have 0 SDCC slimed Grundy, no custom Hal Jordon heads for my SDCC origins figs, & not many variants). I have a SAD # of Parademons (x42) THAT's when I hit bottom as I paid the FULL price the day they came out on mattycollector), x16 Manhunter Robots, x24 OMAC's, & x13 GALATEA's -(since Matty never released the ULTI-Men...a blatant Ethic Super Friends RIP OFF lol). I also sipped buying the rather lame WATCHTOWER Playset at Big Lots for $20 (*** was I thinking?) I never saw the JL release of the BAT WING & I'm so SAD about it!) So all that being said:

I wish FTC would release that many DC WGH (WGSH) as Mattel did in JLU. There is what about 150-200 characters? I don't NEED FTC to use the exact Bruce TIMM style for any FTC WGH Justice League members.....BUT I would be content w/ them keeping a comic + animated + Blend for an All-Encompassing DC UNIVERSE in the MEGO (re-mego) format! I really want FTC to get 1 line, a DC line with updated looks down the road for the already released figures that need it; like WW, but then stick to a consistent style where all the figures from DC have a similar style/era, look like Mego did them after they improved their costumes/accessories/sculpts, & be IN SCALE w/ each other. I'm super SUPER toked for the SUPER FRIENDS line, but then /I hope they continue it to included ALL the LOD, Filmation characters like; Mera, Clayface, Fr. Freeze, Evil Star, ect. & continue by releasing other DC heroes & villains that never appeared, BUT re-imagine HOW they would look.

IOW - I have NOT been this excited about a TOY line since I was a little boy! I actually used to daydream for hours about the "TIME TRAVEL spell taking me back to buy megos for years & years, & now FTC is literally making my childhood/adult DREAMS COME TRUE! I have concerns that would go away IF FTC would have just 1 good interview where they discuss their long term plans, directions of their lines, compatibility of their DC/Super Friends lines, QC issues & when to expect NEW items! I LOVE what FTC is doing & want this to last for years to come! I'm passionate & want to be able to come here & just PRAISE them all day long! I hope all of our concerns/complaints as their customers disappear completely! *Nothing would make me happier than to have nothing to complain about & therefore throw WAY MORE $$$ at them! I 100% TRUELY want FTC to make DC re-Mego figs for YEARS & Years! BUT, I'm concerned about the figures being in too many different styles that don't blend. I want SUPER FRIENDS Megos to be able to blend in seamlessly w/ their COMIC inspired DC WGH lines, that I want to blend in w/ the already released repro DC Superheroes. As it stands now....How am I going to get a HUGE selection of characters if the DC reproductions stand alone, the WGH that have way more detail & possible BIG HEADS, & the Super Friends are SUPER Cartoony & don't match w/ the other lines? I hope they ALL BLEND in seamlessly & are NOT glaringly different in styles/detail making a bunch of lines. IOW, FTC: I'd rather have 1 or 2 lines w/ a large & robust selection of HEROES & VILLIANS (+ a few civilians/Secret Identities) than just have a few small lines that stand alone. If you are going to do SUPER FRIENDS can you honor their style but make them stand side by side w/ your COMIC based DC line? I'm concerned about having to buy 2-3 of every character for each line also. I wish that FTC would give me an interview so I can address the direction of their lines for the future. Current problems in QC. To praise their significant SUCCESSES so far, to see when to expect new product & when to expect QC issues to lessen/disappear? FTC do an interview w/ me! I also have ideas for FTC to get rid of a LOT of their excess p;ld merch on their site, ideas I haven't seen them utilize. OK rant over for now!

An interesting idea pops into my head after reading the above post: you mention things like Manhunters and parademons, which are classic army builder material. Such a thing here would work quite nicely. While DC doesn't have criminal organizational armies quite like Marvel's Hydra or AIM, the aforementioned groups, along with things like Kobra's cultists, would make cool figures and be ripe for multiple purchases from folks trying to build up a squad of bad guy cannon fodder.
