I have been a huge supporter of FTC both Verbally and Financially. I think the only thing keeping them from being the topps in this field is their refusal to come up with a suitable body for their figures. If they don't change it ultimately it will be their downfall.Comment

About time to post a "Thank You/Great Job" thread to FTC! Hopefully no one will hop in to chime or complaint...Comment

FTC is doing an amazing job of recreating that golden era from the early to mid 70's for me. And in some cases they're making the figures better than the originals, which has been a complete kick. How long will it last? How far can it go? I have no idea. But when you can catch a great ride like this, I'm not going to waste my time questioning the upholstery. I never thought we would see a period like this again and yet here we are. I'm going to kick back and enjoy this ride while it lasts. Because if life has taught me anything, it's that nothing lasts forever. FTC is doing something really special for this hobby that hasn't been done on this level since the days of Mego. I have no qualms supporting it.Comment

I'm loving the new figures!
I actually like the classic 8" male bodies. I just wish they could do something about the 8" female bodies.

They are doing better than anyone could have realistically expected. They are giving us Mego reproductions with very subtle changes that, for the most part, actually improve the figures and as MIB said in some cases even top the originals. Honestly if they can do the original DC lineup that Mego did plus add in a few of the core figures like Flash, Green Lantern and Lex Luthor that Mego missed, I'll be thrilled. The stuff like SuperFriends and Hanna-Barbera is just huge icing on the cake.
I think this line has the potential to go on for several years with the characters they have in store. Can't wait and proud to let FTC know that many here support them!Comment

Okay, so how many "Original" 8" figures have they done now? Have they surpassed Mego yet? And I'm not talking about any of the WGSH repros.Comment

Which means 2015 will mostly be original figures. So far the announced selection sounds pretty strong.
EDIT: FTC has said their DC license doesn't extend to cover Isis, so that could be the only non-Marvel figure we don't get. Any others?Comment
