i just had to get some of these ,i ordered a 66 batman and robin ,superman & supergirl and RM robin RC batman ,i already ordered the super powers sets,but that
Shazam & superman set and that Green Arrow & aquaman set are very tempting .these do take up space ,their going up as wall art.

Very cool but I'd rather pay 25 each for two figs and save ten bucks. The only part that is limited edition is the backer cards.
If you could get a two pack for 45, I would consider it.

I passed on Series 1 Batman 2-packs because I already had the single carded figures. Series 2, though, gives me the chance to get Superman, Supergirl, Shazam, Aquaman, and Green Arrow earlier! Now just need Wonder Woman, Mr Mxyzptlk, and Clark Kent to complete original Mego 8" DC WGSH!

*Oh, and I am glad that FTC trademarked Official World's Greatest Heroes logo!

That's a great idea! Ultimately I think I'll just be investing in the single packaged versions though. There are so many to collect just by that angle alone, I'm not ready to start duplicating purchases just to have package variants. I think those two-packs are good for anyone who missed the regular editions. But I do find it odd, they are pushing the two-packs first on Aquaman, Shazam, and Green Arrow. It throws a wrench into the regular series editions (IMO).

I can't see how these would be Fist Fighters, which they are selling for $30 each.

It could be that they decided to switch gears, with the first wave of 2 packs they gave us the singles first, then the 2 packs. Based on how long they were available I would guess they didn't sell as quickly as anticipated. So with these new 2 packs, maybe they decided to offer some of the figures like Shazam, Aquaman and Green Arrow first in the (higher priced) 2 packs, thinking it would spike sales from the collectors that can't wait for these guys to come out in singles.

Probably a smart move. We'll see how long these are still available, if I recall correctly it took at least a month for the Batman/Robin 2 pack to sellout.
