I wonder why they decided to change the cardback design from the first two waves?
I actually like these better and wish waves one and two had been on these style cards.
Maybe they'll reissue the earlier figures on these new cards.

I think the bubbles on the one Woman Woman version are far better than the 'starburst' headshots on the cards for the first two waves.

Yeah, why couldn't FTC use the 1980s DC style guide art which is on Series 3 cards for Series 1 and 2? It was especially wrong using Julie Newmar Catwoman art for Pirate Catwoman!

It just baffles me why they changed the boots because otherwise she looks like a wonderful figure and the other 3 figures are incredibly well-received. It's like they gave the naysayers that one thing to complain about on a silver platter.

I'm sure there's some cost issue involved, my guess is they thought if they gave the boot a more 'generic' and 'less Batgirl' look that it would sell better? Either way, they stubbed their toes here on a wave that looked pretty close to perfect otherwise.

My Batgirl is on the way and I for one don't mind the boots. I guess if anyone is really bothered by them, just get a pair from Doc Mego and switch them out?

I'll pass final judgement on mine when Babs arrives. From what I've seen they irk me, but not enough to get a Doc Mego or similar that looks like the original.

I got my Batgirl today. Really nice figure. I may have to swap out the boots, they do bug me. The cape covers her emblem, so I rolled back the cape a bit. As much as I love having a Mego reproduction Batgirl, I do hope they redo her sometime with a more authentic comic book style Batgirl.

That's not Neal Adams. It's Jose Luis Garcia Lopez, who has done most of DC's style guide artwork since 1982.

They have the boots in various colors listed in their site as Invisible Girl boots. Which is odd since they don't have the Marvel license.
