Now, whoever designed these packages needs to head on over to the 66 design room and help out. These are nice and clean, evoking Mego without being slavish too it. And no "distress" and out of register print making these look like old store stock.
I like the redraw of the classic Infantino/Anderson Robin with his mask down. That is cute. Surprised they didn't use this image:

...but on the plus side, I always disliked how WG's Mego costume stars were all faded, especially the white litho'd stars. I'm glad to see her FCT one had brightly-painted stars: I love those stark-white stars contrasting against the red costume!Last edited by comicmike; Jun 25, '14, 8:42 PM.Comment

Man I hope the suits on the Titans aren't as baggy as the prototypes. If not, these figures should look great!Comment

I'll get some pics up as soon as I can.
As far as the fit of the suits: a little better than the protos, but not exactly snug. Works well enough for me, though.Comment

Excellent, thanks for the feedback, this would be the only way I could ever afford to get these figures in mint shape.Comment

Here's a couple of quick photos:

Forgive my lighting for these---the reds on Kid Flash are not as different as they look in the photo. Also, it looks to my eyes that Kid Flash's head was sculpted in flesh color, and his cowl and hair are painted.Comment

Speedy's legs look really baggy, if it was possible to take the excess and tuck it inside the boots and snug up the neckline on Kid Flash, the fits on both suits would look 100% better IMO. Will try that on mine if I see the same thing.Comment

I think Speedy's tights should be able to tuck into his boots without too much of a problem.
First thing I did with Kid Flash when I took him out of the package was to try to get the collar higher on his neck, which had the effect of pulling his tights up to his knees.
Don't get me wrong: the fit issues are minor, and can generally be addressed by how the figure is posed.Comment

With Speedy it almost looks like there's enough give in the fabric to pull it tight and maybe tuck the excess under his foot? That could be a pain to get the boots back on pus he might not want to stand straight. But if the legs were snug on Speedy the fit would look really nice.Comment
