I think the Titan-sized Robin is being billed as an online exclusive. Not sure if FTC will only have it or what. Anyone else remember exact details?

      PS: Love the cardback design.

Anyone get a WG they can post pics of? I'm getting the impression that she looks better in person. Would love to see what she looks like!

I only took a group shot but you can see WG on the left:

Her hair was pretty messy (no clear hair band on mine) and one of the knees is really loose. The outfit looks nice and the necklace is made of a much more rubbery plastic than the original and lies well on her chest. The 6" female body doesn't have much articulation and has a weird angle cut at the waist. However she does display nicely.

FTC had a wierd brown/tan look compared to mego's orange/tan look. Very apparent on the 66 stuff.

Thanks! She does look better in your pic than in some of the promo pics I've seen. Much more like what I remember my original figure looking like. Depending on what the hair looks like on mine when I get it, I may do some "restyling" and then put her back in the package.

Not sure I'm going to get this first wave as I have collected originals of all of them. I need to get Wonder Girl's necklace, but that isn't listed on CTVT's site yet. I wonder if they will get it there (as most of their accessories eventually do) or if it will be left out.

I've noticed this as well. The skin tone on the FTC is a very sickly look, I switched out Robin to a Type S body and it looks so much better.

Those really look nice. When I get mine, I'll do a side by side photo comparison with my originals. FTC is absolutely on the right tracks. If this isn't duplicating the 70's shelf experience, I don't know what is. I like the fact they're mostly staying on par with how the originals were made and not taking too many liberties to update based on an individual definition of what constitutes "better". You want something close to the originals? There you go.

And I love the approach they are taking. It will be interesting to see what happens this time next year when they have more or less produced all the original DC figures and are into the 'unreleased' figures. Will sales remain as strong? Probably not, but we'll see.

Got my teens yesterday - over all I was real happy with them. They display awesome and hundreds cheaper than real ones (though I do have original kid flash and aqualad)

can't wait to see what teens are in wave 2!!

I'm certainly no Mego Teen Titan expert, but those look really well done.

I agree - i think tht is why some of the other remakes did not pan out so well. they tried to improve them and in some ways they did. but at the end of the day you want them to be like the originals. Now with that said - I would not mind seeing variations of these figures down the road - like on normal bodies with some changes. Maybe speedy with his red pants? also his larger yellow quiver. older version of robin and a new sculpt for wondergirl. (that to me has to be one of the worst mego heads of all time) I don't know what mego was thinking LOL. but that is just IMO.

would be great to see variations down the line

I agree, FTC should give us the originals, then address any changes Mego collectors have wanted, like 'correcting' Speedy's costume or putting Mxp on a child's body. Doing this satisfies the purists as well as those that want new figures PLUS it extends the line for FTC a bit.

I know a lot of people want FTC to hurry up and get to the non-Batman characters like Superman/Shazam/Aquaman/etc, but I think FTC knows that once they do all the 'original' Megos, that the 'new' figures won't sell as well. I think it's a fine-line to walk for FTC, and they are trying to extend the line for as long as they can, while still giving collectors figures that will sell. Will be interesting to see how much gas in the tank this line has left this time next year.
