Great to see whole piles of "Megos" on an assembly line again!
I would join in, but these are way to expensive here, like $50 a piece, I kid you not.
Ah, well, maybe it's a good thing, stops me from buying stuff!

I'm just glad I got my original Mego Batgirl just now, before the "repro" parts start flooding the market...

If lighter grey is your thing then you should love the Batman from Wave 1. Suit was WAY too light, especially against the darker blue.

The most exciting combo IMO is Batgirl's black togs. Something so striking about the blue and yellow against all that black. Possible variant someday, I hope (but not before a truckload of other characters).

Would anybody here (besides me) be interested in having FTC just make alternate costumes (as opposed to full figures)? Seems like a no-brainer to take full advantage of the unique opportunites the Mego style presents.

If the emblem on the new Batgirl is an iron-on like the Batman figure, you should be able to dye her suit black if you want without hurting the emblem.

What does that have to do with Batgirl and your affinity for light grey?

A black suit for Babs would look pretty sweet.

                            Oh GOOD GRIEF!!!

They're using those wretched, bloody twist ties!!!

                            I HATE THOSE THINGS!!!

You can't remove them without destroying the card!!!

I managed to get my Catwoman out by bending her knees to free her feet, and wiggling the head loose.

And just WHY is the head so gosh-darned inflexible??? It's like a freaking rock!

I agree with you!... but wondering if I can help with a suggestion. I remove my ties (attached via the hole punched in the clear holder-tray glued to the card backer) by choosing which twist is closest to which hole, & use needle-nose pliers to pull mine through the hole (twist & all). By gently pulling the twist through, I have not (yet, that is) torn a hole. Once the twist is through, I undo the tie (sometimes I completely pull out the whole tie, or leave it tied & the twist exposed if I want to tie the figure back in place later). This method is better than cutting the tie, risking the twisted part falling loose to beneath that glued-on tray.

The Batman 66 figures trays were not glued down, so hopefully that helps out your crisis Jaida.
