The Type S bodies are not exact replicas. The hips in particular are wider on the Type S and they are marginally taller.

If my figures were going to be in the hands of a child, they would definitely get swapped to a Type S body. But personally I want to keep them original.

Thanks for all the kind words on our Type S body... for the record though, they are the same height as the original type 2...Figsinc and DM's are a scoach shorter... Give Em a compare and you'll see..

Something to consider if you are debating on keeping the body original or swapping it: What are you doing with the packaging? If you plan on keeping the packaging, perhaps you could keep the original figure in it for future use? If you are only keeping these for loose figures, I personally don't think value will be too big of a deal, but who knows. To me, collecting loose figures is about enjoying them, not for their future value! I hate to toss a body, so I like to use the old bodies for goons or civilians etc.

I didn't say anything about it hurting the value. Has nothing to do with value to me, I just prefer to Keep them original. And to be perfectly honest, I haven't had any trouble with FTC bodies. In fact, the worst bodies I ever got on any ReMego figures were BBP Six Million Dollar Man and Twilight Zone. My Steve Austin was a WRECK.

Having said that, I am gonna have to swap a Superman to a Type S body with fists so he can do the Superman pose!
good idea on Super-man...will do the same thing

I will say the Zica-away bodies are not that much different...but much better

Value aside,if you want sturdier, better poseable figures, these are the way to go...the 66 Batman figures fit PERFECT on these figures

^^^I will be visiting your table and help you make packing up a bit easier this year. I can see some much needed wallet damage being done for remegos for me this year.

Got these and love 'em---FTC knocked it out of the park! One quibble though: I really wish they had hemmed or otherwise finished Robin's sleeves---mine have already started to fray.

^^^ I noticed that in the pics, they should have put the tights seam on the inside of the leg, too.

Batman and Robin arrived to the Shining Star of the Caribbean! If it weren't for Robin's un-hemmed sleeves and Batman's riding belt (yes, again) I would dare to say these are mini Hot Toys...

FTC, if you are even lurking around here, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for these amazing figures!

Happy to say, that I got my order in today! Should have them next week.
Sold an original sculpt figurine to cover the cost. Suffice it to say, there is a very happy commissioner out there, who is still shaking his head trying to figure out how he got his commission so cheap.

The commission was a 'Chad Lackey' to go with the Underdog PVC figure set of the 90's.

Can anyone post Romero's Joker with the tailcoat unfastened in front? I'm wondering about the inside shirt/vest details.

I also got my set on Friday and I have to say the quality and care that went into these figures is top notch. Had Mego done the '66 themed characters back in the day, they never would have turned out this good. The detail is amazing and the gloves and boots are perfect. Batman even has a wire in his cape to keep it properly folded back as it looks in the show. I also love the fact Robin's cape is two tone with the silk portion on top while the flat tone is on the inside. I love all the head sculpts. Zero issues. I can't wait to get the accessory pack. A nice added feature to the packaging is that the inner trays are removable so you can untwist the ties from the back. I'm absolutely thrilled with this line. 10/10
