No the announcements are great! I was the one that said there wasn't a lot of re-mego chatter, and then BOOM, FTC made their announcement about the Retro Megos Batman line. I think it's really exciting! The only way it could get any better is if we had some groovy Mego style commercials to go w/ all this cool stuff! I know I say that a lot. But since I didn't have a lot of Megos as a kid, and watched a lot of cartoons after school, the commercials really stand out in my memories.

I guess maybe the problem for me is all the threads about the same thing. Anyway, I'm not complaining, so don't get me wrong. I just need a breather.

These may actually fill the void of the loss of lines I collect (DC Universe at retail and on Matty.com), or changes that have limited my purchases (Marvel Now! getting major releases in lines like Marvel Legends and Minimates). So I can take the money I spent on those lines and instead buy this stuff, although I may have to put some limits in place too (like picking 'n choosing the Fist Fighters).

It's breath taking to see the volume of product they're releasing when other companies struggle to get out only a few. They're definitely the leader in the current pack.

It looked like the eight inch/remego craze was starting to die out (if it wasn't already half in the grave) before the FTC stuff hit the internet. I hope it pumps some life into other companies that will look to FTCs success (if they are successful) and jump in with their own. Would love an arrested development line.
