No. The original FTC announcement was over a year ago. We've known about quite a bit of their output for months now.

I have this unreasonable nerd fear that people are going to buy up all the new remedies before I can save some cash to buy them! I felt panic when the two packs came out and again upon the announcement of the New Spiderman set.

Agreed, it's going to be like this from now on. If the figures keep selling we could be in for 2-5 more years of this, maybe more.

There are definitely worse 'problems' to have

What's interesting is that FTC is announcing so much cool stuff that they could end up cannibalizing their own sales. A month ago I was planning on getting the 66 figures, but now with all the cool stuff coming, I'm waiting.

The end result is FTC will likely get more of my money, so it's all good.

It'll be interesting to see what else FTC thinks of, such as the Super Powers/Fist Fighter crossover. Someone over there is coming up with cool ideas!

I'm definitely going to have to pick and choose. I've got most of the original megoes, so I probably won't get the repros, but the new figures I want. I want to see the Batman in Wave 4. If it has a good head sculpt, no oven mitts and a long cape then I'm in. If it's the mego Batman with longer ears, no go for me.

I want the 66 line, especially a Penguin, Egghead, Joker, King Tutt and Madhatter. I love the Accessory pack

^ I think both 12" Mego Batman sculpts are great--perhaps FTC could repurpose those? Or resize the first issue, and resize/reissue the magnetic version in black. Yowza, two cool, very Mego variants right there.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

I think that would be cool, but what I'd really like to see is a knockout version of Adams or Aparo Batman. The mego sculpts are nostalgic for me, but even as a kid I wondered why they didn't look more like the comics or the TV shows.

I'm picky about what I actually buy, so I don't feel too bad financially. However, I do at times feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of things coming out.
It's hard to keep track of it all.

It wasn't that long ago people we're saying "I wish we'd get this line" or "I wish someone would do that line". And now we're getting those lines we wished for. If anything,be careful for what you wish for.

                          I'm in same boat - pick-n-choose.
I will never have the disposable income to buy all this stuff unless I win the lottery.
Anything new is fodder for gift-ideas when it comes to birthdays, xmas, etc..

But I've been in this boat before it seems...to much product and can't buy it all at retail prices.
Then, a year or two later when I try to fill the collections voids, it's all gone and prices went up on the second hand market.
Plus, where am I gonna put all this stuff? I at least have a spare bedroom to display the collection..and it's already borderline gawdy-crowed....gonna have to thin something out.

A few years back I'd been pre-ordering everything shown...but I've curbed my illness a bit. I think having two kids will do that to you. That being said, there is TONS of stuff coming out that's going to be hard to resist.
