as for the paint coming off the neck plug ,looks like they are using a collar for the lower part of the cowl ,which would cover any paint loss i would imagine

I see quite a few spots where the neck plug looks flesh colored in the grooves like the paint was weaker there. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

Did anybody else notice the foot or ankle in the second picture?
It looks like batman has removable boot feet?
Or am I just seeing things?“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”Comment

yep, looks like Batman and Robin have ball joint gloves and boots. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

I think you are seeing what you want to see as you gaze deeply into Adam West's hole.
I think you are seeing elements of light refracting and thinner plastic. Not only is it typical to mold the toy part in the color that will cover the most area, it would also not be typical to paint Adam West's neck plug since the paint would be assured of coming off as his head turns. Paint is usually left off of the 'mechanical' moving parts.Comment
