as for the paint coming off the neck plug ,looks like they are using a collar for the lower part of the cowl ,which would cover any paint loss i would imagine

I see quite a few spots where the neck plug looks flesh colored in the grooves like the paint was weaker there.

Did anybody else notice the foot or ankle in the second picture?
It looks like batman has removable boot feet?
Or am I just seeing things?

Is it me or is batmans belt riding high again?

The belt appears to be riding high because the trunks don't reach 'waistline' on the suit.

I think the trunks being too small may be the first complaint about this figure.

I think you are seeing elements of light refracting and thinner plastic. Not only is it typical to mold the toy part in the color that will cover the most area, it would also not be typical to paint Adam West's neck plug since the paint would be assured of coming off as his head turns. Paint is usually left off of the 'mechanical' moving parts.
i want to say "but, I don't WANT to gaze deeply into Adam Wests hole". God, we are such children!
