McFarlane doing Super Powers?

Yes, there were 4 Entertainment Earths waves announced, so two more reveals to go, and three more pre-orders.

I'm happy with the selection, but a few of the figures are a bit of a letdown as far as design. Starfire's flat chest with printed details seems very wrong for her, given how Perez designed her. Although Kenner probably would have went with the closed-up look used in the drug awareness comics, and the proposed animated series from HB. Wildcat's belt is just weird, since McFarlane has blank torso bucks to use. And oddly enough, they sculpted unique arms for Batman Beyond with his distinctive two fins, so why not sculpt new torsos?

But its great to have more female characters, more Titans and more JSA, so I'm in.

After looking at the new female figure they are like the JLU figures, blank bodies with add ones. Makes it easier to do customs. I am thinking about ordering 2 sets this time to cast the female.

Got mine as well. Thankfully ordering these through EE has been much easier than dealing with McFarlane or GameStop.

Um for some strange reason EE opened up wave 13 Reign of Superman again for those who missed out last month. I placed another order for custom fodder since most of the S have different costumes.

I do not know if this was a mistake or an actual order so if you missed out this might be your chance to catch up.

I'm glad they aren't making these impossible to get. Toy collecting has gotten ridiculously obsessed with only rewarding people who sit and wait for things to drop, and even then pre-orders often sell out instantly. I was really afraid these exclusive SP waves would be a nightmare, but good on EE for circumventing Todd's usual manufactured ordering drama.

I ordered both sets. But, I'm not impressed with the female buck and low detail thereof. That's a Secret Wars figure, not a Super Power figure.

And you know, McF will eventually use it for Black Canary and add a poorly-scaled soft-goods jacket. Yechh.
