Got my Bat Multicraft and Manta Sea-Saucer yesterday, and despite the later having a punctured box, I'm really happy with them. Especially this wonderful Easter egg on the view-screen sticker in the Sea-Saucer!

I hadn't seen that, lovely. If only Aquaman had a head to match . Really, McF?

              MAYBE we'll get a classic, clean-shaven, short-haired Aquaman WITH the Aqua-Scooter?

                Is the scooter proposed?! *swoon*

I have a now-vague memory of seeing Aquaman on a jet-ski--was it at Sea World, or on Legends of the Super Heroes?-- and being so excited .

No, I haven't heard anything. This sticker is the first acknowlegement of it.

Had to be Sea World, because Aquaman didn't make it into Legends. I remember those ads for the Sea World show on some of my earliest comic books. I was so crushed when I realized there was one in Ohio, a driveable distance from my land-locked parents.

Aurora Sea-World was not too far from us, I loved it. Seeing that show was wonderful, it must have been '76 0r '77? It was not the later show featuring Super Powers Penguin or fright-mask Joker.

I'm sorry you didn't get to see it. When the park closed in 2000, the Akron paper ran an interview with the site costumer and, amongst other things, she discussed the DC costumes.

My memory of going to sea world in 1976 when I was six years old. the superheroes would be walking around. I saw Robin and the kids would ask him where Batman was. I wore a spider man t shirt and Robin goes to me,"You're wearing the wrong shirt, kid."

If you didn't back the crowd-funded Bat Multicraft and Black Manta Sea-Saucer and want them, don't fret. They are showing up at Gamestop stores. Bat vehicle is $35, Manta ship is $25, five bucks higher a piece than the crowd fund as I recall. The burn is some folks who funded this haven't received theirs yet. People on FB Super Powers groups are pretty ticked. McFarlane did say these would show up at retail in some quantities, but that was after the campaign was already under way.

Mine are to get here by the weekend. I am pretty sure I am going to just add the figures to the unopened wall. Wednesday I will be working on my Slaughter Swamp shelf to prepare for the Bat Multicraft and Swamp Thing.

Do you know if the figures will also be available at retail?

I haven't heard about them. If they are, I wouldn't mind having the darker colored Batman and the Filmation Black Manta myself. Robin and Aquaman are just too off-model for my tastes.
