Agreed--I would not have been surprised by a Pop, but this is a little unexpected. I wonder how high the nostalgia rate is for this film. I was in undergrad when it came out and kind of missed it for a bit.Hugh H. Davis

The kids who watched this movie on release are adults now. The nostalgia is there, and it's the 25th anniversary.
I LIKE the movie, it's just silly fun for 80% of it. But that last 20%, where suddenly a working jet pack is used on a parade float, and Sinbad's fist can magically shoot off and pop back out...it's like a drug-induced hallucination. It's like the "From Dusk Til Dawn" of fluffy Holiday comedies.
