^Wow Dwayne, that's impressive. I've been tempted by many, but just haven't pulled that trigger yet. I'm kind of afraid to!

I really wanted to love these one:12 figures, but something to me is just missing. I don't know if it's the non-removeable costumes or the slightly smaller scale, but to me they seem closer to standard all-plastic action figures than they do Mego-like figures. I own 5 of these - Dark Knight black/grey Batman, DK light blue Batman with yellow oval, Spock, Sulu, and SDCC Captain America. The Cap in particular disappointed me, with the more modern combat boots, gloves and knife. If it had been more traditional Gold/Silver/Bronze Age with the cuffed pirate boots and gauntlets, I'm sure I would've liked it more. But that's just me, I'm sure I'm in the minority.

I'm deciding whether or not to make another huge purchase this week...I'm eight figures behind already. Punisher, Daredevil, Shadowland DD, Green Arrow, BvS Batman, Kirk, Modern Cap, and Commander Rogers are all out.

Just saw the photos of the releases. A lot of these look like Captain Mego sculpts and styles. I knew that he was working on some project providing prototypes and selling to a collector in the biz. These are amazing.

The Iron Man is very reminiscent of the Toy Biz Famous Covers Iron Man.

                    Very much so.

                    Here is Mezco's:

                    Captain Mego:

                    Both are amazing.

                      So
It's a standard action figure with highly visible ab crunch? What makes this worth $80, over a $20-25 Marvel Legends figure?

Because it has...well because...ok. Good point. I don't think they really raised the bar on this one, though I'm not sure what I'd like to see different here either. But their OTHER stuff is all really cool! Mostly.

That non cloth at all Iron Man does nothing for me. The teased first appearance Batman leaves me flat, too.

I wish they did Iron man like the Famous Covers Iron Man and made the yellow suit cloth. (apparently that was asked and they chose all plastic instead)
