^I do believe that Mezco altered the terms and conditions on their site regarding the length of time they had to deliver the figures from when I had paid for my order back on June 14th.
I'm positive when I ordered my figures it said non-attendee SDCC figures would begin shipping after the convention. When I spoke to them the other day they said it was ten months.
No way did it say that when I ordered them...I wouldn't have tied my money up that long.Comment

Once they delayed that, the customer has the right to cancel and be refunded in FULL
I am giving them till Late Oct to fulfill my order. After that, My claim/dispute is going inComment

It would appear that Mezco's reach may have exceeded its grasp. They showed prototypes for so many figures across multiple licenses all at once, and that was a lot for a new company to deliver. And all that tooling means money upfront, so they're going to be more than a little difficult in any refunds, though with the delays they're experiencing they certainly should be more accommodating.
I'm still looking forward to their products, as so far what they've delivered has been terrific. But reading all this will make me very unlikely to commit any pre-order money directly with them, even if it means I run the risk of missing out on something. Because there's always something else to buy, anyway. And at the end of the day, I don't really need another Spock, Superman or Captain America figure anyway.Comment

I thought I read something quite some time ago that mezco had shipping issues before. I thought there was a delay in shipping out the dark knight returns one 12 figures due to some type of payment issues that were taking place with the shipping company they were dealing with. There was a lot of product stuck at the shipping ports because of a strike or something of that matter. I'm glad to see enyawd72 got a full refund. That's a chunk of change to lay down for figures and to be told they are keeping $80 bucks of it. I have one mezco figure of the one 12 dark knight returns batman in the standard black and grey costume. I love it and they are awesome figs but I just can't say if I will order anymore in the future. I like to be sure a company has the product in stock before I lay down some cash. I don't do preorders unless it's a figure or collectible that I really want. Everybody's different and I'm glad it worked out in his favor. Well that's my 2 cents. Good luck to everyone with future collecting investments.Comment
