Mezco did WHAT?!

After not shipping figures I paid for IN FULL over two months ago, and telling me they didn't know when they would ship, they kept a $40 non-refundable deposit per figure after cancelling my order.

I am LIVID.

They can take their One:12 line and stick it. I'm done.

What I don't get is, they were the SDCC exclusives....they HAVE the figures, so why haven't they shipped them for two months? There's people with them in hand selling them left and right on Ebay so what gives?

And they don't know WHEN they'll ship? What kind of BS is that?

Oh, and to top it all off I'm sure it'll be a week or more before my refund shows up in my Paypal account, even though it comes out instantly.

Mezco is only supposed to keep the non-refundable $40 if you pay the rest and Mezco fulfills your order. Thanks, for telling us this. I am glad I did not pre-order NYCC Black Daredevil from Mezco site yesterday. First it was the delays now this. The entire One:12 line may get cancelled at this rate. Especially sad to hear this from you enyawd72. You along with me were One:12 biggest supporters on these forums. Back to FTC DC and hope DST EMCE can do better with Marvel.

That is so crappy. Who ever heard of a deposit on an action figure? You should message them back after the refund and tell them you're sharing your Mezco experience on multiple fan sites.

Yep, I paid $110 for each figure plus shipping IN FULL...total ended up being close to $250. I lost $80 on the deposits and I don't even know if they'll refund the shipping. They better or I'm gonna flip out.

It is really sad...I love the figures themselves but I'm SO freaking tired of jumping through hoops to get all these damn exclusives and variants. Enough already.

If not, you may want to hit some Mezco FB pages or whatnot and see if they're doing this en masse. If you get about a dozen people, they'll react.

Is there a number you can call? Seems like they made a mistake. Do you know of any other collectors this has happened to with them?

I'm sure you've tried contacting them through email... Maybe more persistence? Man, I'd be livid. That's no small amount.

A non-refundable deposit only applies when the buyer cancels the order, leaving the seller on the hook for the merch.

If it worked the way Mezco is claiming, I could open a front with all fake merchandise, make the same claim, produce nothing, cancel everything and keep the deposits.

If they're doing this en masse, then they're trying to stop from going under.

Let me see what I can find out.

EDIT: Basic soc media search is showing this is happening to multiple people.
