Mezco definitely has a hit on their hands having Marvel and DC running at the same time.Definitely mini Hot Toys figures, something we have needed for a long time instead of having to reply on customizers for highly detailed clothed comic book figuresComment

Now that Mezco One:12 Captain America figure went up for pre-order for $80 which is better $80 deal Mezco One:12 Marvel figures or Diamond 8" Retro Mego Marvel figure sets? I vote Mezco One:12 because they are more detailed like half size Hot Toys and Mezco will make more Marvel characters per year! *Mezco tweeted me that Mezco is working on getting X-Men! Fantastic 4 is off table, though, probably because the F4 movie bombed so bad last summer.Comment

DST Retro Marvel sets hands down, Mr. threads starter... No matter how nice the One:12 are (and they indeed are) they are 6" not 8". Furthermore the non-removable clothing, gloves and boots detracts from the Mego customizing charm & fun.Comment

Thumbs up! I look at them like fantastic customs that someone made two inches too short. And they are fantastic.Comment

I only have 2 versions of One:12 DKR Batman so far and they are 6.75" tall 1.25" shorter than 8" Mego. I wonder how tall new One:12 DC and Marvel will be, at least 6.5"? I can see Shazam taller than Flash and Captain America taller than Daredevil.Comment

The One:12 figures are already selling out in preorders and secondary market prices are even higher.
DST Mego figures are getting dumped on Amazon for a fraction of their original price.Last edited by enyawd72; Mar 14, '16, 8:03 AM.Comment

Maybe, but Mego was more than 8" figures...sometimes people forget that. In fact, between all the 1970's-80's TV and movie lines I think they may have actually made more 3 3/4" figures than 8"Comment

Mego did make 3 3/4", 8", 7", 10", and 12" figures, and I loved them all. But when I see cloth outfitted Super-heroes, That's when I think Mego. Mego also added more detail to their figures as they went along. I think the"CHIPS" figures had a lot of detail and accessories for their time, and the clothes on Bo and Luke Duke are way more detailed than Starsky and Hutch, so it's not hard to imagine Mego reaching todays high end level of detail had they stayed in the game all these years.Comment
