Mego also added more detail to their figures as they went along. I think the"CHIPS" figures had a lot of detail and accessories for their time, and the clothes on Bo and Luke Duke are way more detailed than Starsky and Hutch, so it's not hard to imagine Mego reaching todays high end level of detail had they stayed in the game all these years.

I ordered my first One:12 figure this week. Should arrive any day. This is the one line I'm allowing myself to collect outside of model kits because I know I'll regret it later if I don't. LOL

Is is a great line. I have some of the Dark Knight ones and just amazing detail. I plan on getting some of the Marvel ones and maybe Spock. Love the scale and workmanship.

These mixed media 1/12 figures are the most exciting thing to happen to action figure collecting in a very long time.

Both Mezco and ThreeA are creating highly detailed 1/12 figures that rival the very best of high end 1/6 collectables.

I already own three different versions of Mezco's Judge Dredd, and two different versions of Batman TDKR, and they're absolutely incredible.

These are the most exciting thing shown at Toy Fair this year. I don't care for 12 inch figures because they take up too much space and I collect a lot of things. It's nice to see figures half the size with the same quality.

I saw that Mezco One:12 Frankenstein b&w version went up for pre-order today for $70.

              So:

              $70 Universal Monsters
              $70 Star Trek
              $75 DC
              $80 Marvel

I wish DC and Marvel were $70. I cancelled all of my One:12 pre-orders and will wait until they are in stock and see if I can get better deals on eBay with free shipping.

                    The honeymoon ended very quickly.

That's a great looking figure, but at $300.00, that's just plain silly.

I smell buyers remorse coming on these. I think the knee jerk reaction to them is driving those prices out of logical boundaries even from a collector's sensibilities.

I don't see that at all.....The figures are like 6" Hot Toys figures at the fraction of the cost of a 1/6 Figure...

Anybody that has the Mezco Batman certainly doesn't has buyers remorse

Just saw an ad for this. It's the Spock "The Cage" variant we were discussing, now for $160 shipped. So 2X the regular price, with isn't as nuts for a limited exclusive variant. Still a lot of coin, though.

                            Here's the link.

The limited Spock figure is now $89.95. I'm in.
