ANY paint job on an Aurora is a work of art. From that child with a gloppy paintbrush to a pro with an airbrush and mad skills, I LOVE seeing different interpretations of Aurora kits. I wish they were still plentiful and affordable. I love Brian and Chris' idea of doing them every Halloween with their kids. I had trouble finding reasonably priced ones this year.

Set up an empty glass collectible shelf.

For one year, take the money you would buy collectibles with and put it in the shelf on display.

Do this EVERYTIME you're sure you would buy something.

After the year is up then decide if you want to go back to collecting.

I'm definitely in the middle of Crisis on Infinite Midlife right now, because for me, it's all about nostalgia and vintage goodies I never got as a kid. I'm a huge Star Wars fan and haven't bought any Hot Toys or Force Awakens toys. Most modern stuff doesn't thrill, unless its done with a vintage slant. There are exceptions, of course... I'll buy anything Creepshow. But the stuff I'm after now is not the high end big ticket items like I used to.
